IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Warning: When the hair dryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hair dryer is switched off.
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

DANGER As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are electrically live even when the switch is off.
To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:
- Always unplug it immediately after using.
- Do not place or store an appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a bath or sink.
- Do not use while bathing.
- Do not place or drop into water or other liquid.
- If an appliance falls into water, “unplug it” immediately. Do not reach into the water.
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your electrical contractor for advice.

For optimal results, shampoo and condition your hair prior to styling and towel dry to remove excess moisture.
Note: This hair dryer is not suitable for use on synthetic wigs or hair extensions.
TOURMALINE CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY
Tourmalines are precious gemstones with highly unique properties. Heating crushed tourmalines results in the powerful natural emissions of ions and far-infrared heat. The Pearl Shine Hair Dryer features Tourmaline Ceramic Technology with 4x more Tourmaline* to provide a natural source of ions to reduce frizz and create a smooth and shiny finish.
IONIC CONDITIONING TECHNOLOGY
The Curl & Straight Confidence Hair Dryer provides 90% more ions for less frizz*.
COOL SHOT
This hair dryer is equipped with a cool shot button that is used to set your hairstyle. Press the cool shot button upwards to rapidly cool and set your hair once it has been styled.
TURBO BOOST FUNCTION
This hair dryer features a turbo boost function, which is used to increase airflow speed by 10%**. Move the switch to the left to turn the turbo function on to rapidly dry your hair.
QUICK DRYING
Select the high heat and high speed setting and roughly dry your hair. Use a brush or your hand to shake out excess moisture whilst drying and keep the hair dryer in constant motion.
CURLING WITH THE CURLING CONCENTRATOR
For best results, dry your hair as normal until it is about 70% dry. Then turn off your dryer and section your hair into manageable areas. Fit the curling concentrator to the front of the hair dryer then twist clockwise to lock in place. Take care when you do this because the concentrator can become hot in use. Starting on the lower areas of hair, working on one section at a time brush through with the round brush and then wrap hair around the barrel starting at the ends.

Select the high heat and low speed setting using the speed and heat selector switches. The shape of the curling concentrator maximises the air and heat coverage around the brush. For best results seat the brush, with hair wrapped, directly within the concentrator until the section is 100% dry. When the section is dry, press the cool shot button upwards and hold it for a few seconds to set your curl in place.
Switch off the dryer and carefully unwind the section of hair from the brush.
STRAIGHTENING WITH THE EXTRA WIDE SLIM SMOOTHING CONCENTRATOR
For best results, dry your hair as normal until it is about 70% dry. Then turn off your dryer and section your hair into manageable areas. Fit the extra wide slim smoothing concentrator to the front of the hair dryer then twist clockwise to lock in place. Take care when you do this because the concentrator can become hot in use. Starting on the lower areas of hair, working on one section at a time brush through with the round brush.
Using the round brush, follow the concentrator from above, while slowly gliding down each section of hair from roots to tips. Once bottom layers have been straightened, then straighten the midsection and complete by straightening top layers.
USING THE DIFFUSER
This hair dryer comes with a professional style diffuser. This diffuser dries hair fast without blowing out the style. Perfect for naturally curly, permed and fine hair or to give your hair a boost of volume.
Note: Always select the lowest heat setting when using the diffuser, as damage may occur to the diffuser if higher heat settings are used.
DRY YOUR HAIR USING THE DIFFUSER
Dry your hair beginning at the roots and using circular motions, always moving in the same direction. Use the diffuser with the hair dryer set at the low heat and low speed. Continue drying, keeping the hair dryer at a 90-degree angle from the scalp. This will lift the roots away from the scalp giving your hair volume. Finish by drying the ends.
ADD VOLUME TO YOUR HAIR USING THE DIFFUSER
To add volume to your hair, tilt your head upside down and dry so that the roots fall away from your scalp. Use the diffuser with the hair dryer set at low heat and low speed. Point the hair dryer at the roots to give your hair maximum volume. Continue the process to the ends of your hair.
USER INSTRUCTIONS
This hair dryer is equipped with a thermostat that will cycle `OFF’ if the temperature exceeds the comfort level due to partially blocked air inlet or air outlet openings. In the event that the hair dryer stops during use turn off all switches and allow the hair dryer to cool down, at which time the thermostat will automatically reset. Before using again, check that the air inlet and air outlet openings are not blocked. Unplug the hair dryer and clean the openings if necessary. During use, do not block the air openings or let your hair be drawn into the hair dryer.
MAINTENANCE
Your hair dryer is designed for household use and is virtually maintenance free. No lubrication is needed. When cleaning becomes necessary, turn all switches off and disconnect the hair dryer from the power outlet.
To maintain peak product performance, it is important to clean the air inlet grille at the back of the hair dryer. To remove the air inlet grille, grasp the air inlet grille retaining ring with your hand and twist it anti-clockwise until it unlocks. Pull it away from the hair dryer. It can now be cleaned with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner. Once clean, take the air inlet grille retaining ring and position it so the lugs on the ring are aligned with the notches on the side of the dryer. To lock, turn the air inlet grille retaining ring clockwise. The exterior of the hair dryer can be cleaned by wiping it with a damp cloth.
STORAGE
When not in use, always unplug the hair dryer from the power outlet. Allow the hair dryer to cool and store out of the reach of children in a safe dry place. Never wrap the power cord around the hair dryer since this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Handle the cord carefully for long life and avoid jerking, twisting or straining especially at the plug connections. If the cord becomes twisted in use, periodically straighten it.
You may also use the hang loop to store the hair dryer within convenient reach, ensuring that water cannot be splashed on to it when it is hung up.
WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
As with all electrical appliances, the power cord must be regularly checked for wear and tear. Immediately cease using this product if the power cord shows any signs of damage.
This product conforms to radio frequency interference requirements. Any product purchased and used commercially carries a limited 90 Day Warranty.
