MARINE GRADE UNIVERSAL RGB LED STRIP – 5 METERS

The SPXRGB5 light strip can be cut every 2 inches andinstalled with 3M peel-and-stick adhesive backing. The lightstrip operates within an 11-14.8 VDC range and can beused stand alone for basic solid colors or with the StingerSPXRGBC RGB Controller for multiple color-changingoptions and lighting effects.Basic Wiring

1. Cut light strip to length at solder pads indicated by the scissor icon and line. Fig A
2. Remove rubber coating and adhesive from the front andback of the solder pads.
3. If using a RGB controller, solder the 4 control wires (FIG.B).For a solid color, refer to to the table below and solderappropriate wires.

Example:Connecting LED strip +12V to Power and connectingR and B to Ground will illuminate Purple.

4. When soldering, tin both the wire and the LED solder pad for best results.After wire connections are made, insulate with heat shrink. (FIG. C)

5. If wiring direct, without a controller, you must fuse the +12V power source witha fuse. 3 to 5 amp fuse recomended.

Should service be necessary under this warranty for any reason due to manufacturingdefect or malfunction, Stinger will (at its discretion), repair or replace the defective product withnew or remanufactured product at no charge. Damage caused by the following is not coveredunder warranty: accident, misuse, abuse, product modification or neglect, failure to followinstallation instructions, unauthorized repair attempts, misrepresentations by the seller. Thiswarranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages and does not cover the cost ofremoving or reinstalling the unit(s). Cosmetic damage due to accident or normal wear and tearis not covered under warranty.

INTERNATIONAL WARRANTIES:Products purchased outside the United States of America are covered only by that country’sAuthorized Stinger reseller and not by Stinger. Consumers needing service or warranty informationfor these products must contact that country’s reseller for information.
