IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
These warnings are provided in the interests of your safety. Ensure that you understand Them all before installing or using this appliance. Your safety is of paramount importance. If you are unsure about any of the meanings or these warnings contact the Customer Care Department.
Installation
- This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when moving it.
- It is dangerous to alter the specifications or attempt to modify this product in any way.
- Ensure that the appliance does not stand on the electrical supply cable. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord available from your local Service Force Centre.
- Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.
- Parts that heat up should not be exposed. Whenever possible, the back of the appliance should be close to a wall but leaving the required distance for ventilation as stated in the installation instructions.
- The appliance should be left for 2 hours after installation before it is turned on, in order to allow the refrigerant to settle.
CAUTION: You must keep the appliance stand in the place where is ventilative anytime.
Child Safety
- This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons unless they have been adequately supervised by a responsible person to ensure that they can use the appliance safely.
- Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
During Use
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only, specifically for the storage of edible foodstuffs only.
Maintenance and Cleaning
- Switch off, and unplug the appliance before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance. work.
- Do not use sharp instruments to scrape. off frost or ice. (See defrosting instructions).
| CAUTION: You must not use any mechanical equipment or another way that quicken up the defrosting process to defrost the appliance. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. You must not use any electric appliance inside the appliance except that is commended by the manufacturer. |
Servicing
This product should be serviced by an authorized engineer, and only genuine spare parts should be used.• Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the machine yourself. Repairs carried out by inexperienced persons may cause injury or serious malfunctioning. Contact your local Service Force Centre.
At the End of the Appliance Life

Correctly positioning
Well Ventilating
There is a need for good ventilation around the refrigerator for easy dissipation of heat, high efficiency of refrigeration, and low power consumption. For this purpose, sufficient clear space should need around the refrigerator. Its back is at least 100mm away from the wall, its sides at least have a space of 100mm separately and the height from over its top is not less than 200mm. Clear space should be left to open its doors to 160.
Power Supply
The refrigerator is only applied with a power supply of single-phase alternating current of (220-240)V~/50Hz; If fluctuation of voltage in the district user is so large that the voltage exceeds the above scope, for safety sake, be sure to apply a.c. automatic voltage regulator to the refrigerator. The refrigerator must employ a special power socket instead of a common one with other electric appliances. Its plug must match the socket with ground wire.
Power Line Cord
The cord should be neither lengthened nor folded into the coil during operation. Moreover, it is forbidden that cord is kept close to the compressor at the back of the refrigerator, the surface temperature of which is quite high when operating. Touching with it would deactivate the insulation or cause leakage for electricity.
Protection from Moisture
Avoiding placing the refrigerator in a place where heavy moisture is present so as to minimize the possibility of rusty for its metal parts. Still more, the refrigerator is forbidden to be directly sprayed by water, otherwise, poor insulation and current leakage would occur.
Switching on the appliance
Starting up the appliance
The appliance features internal controls. Plugin the appliance. When the appliance is connected to the mains, the inside light switches on each time the door is opened. The thermostat, located inside the refrigerator compartment, is used to adjust the temperature of the refrigerator compartment.
Appliance temperature adjustment:
Temperature setting:The thermostat is used to automatically adjust the internal temperature of the refrigerator compartment. The thermostat knob can be turned from position to 5 (coldest setting) to make the internal temperature colder. When set to O the appliance is switched off. To store food for a short period of time, set the thermostat between I (Min) and 3 (Med).-To store food for long periods of time, set the thermostat to 3 or 4.-To get the coldest temperature, set the thermostat to 5.

Protection from Heat
The refrigerator should be far away from any heat source or direct sunshine.
Fixing Stable
The floor on which the refrigerator will be placed must be flat and solid. It should not be laid on any soft material such as foam plastic, etc. If the refrigerator is not on the same level, adjust the screws suitably. The refrigerator should not be placed near anything which may echo.
Keep Away from Danger
It is inadvisable that the refrigerator is placed near any volatilizable or combustible such as gas, petrol, alcohol, lacquer and banana oil, etc. The above-mentioned objects can not be stored in the refrigerator.
Moving
When fixed or moved, the refrigerator can not be set horizontally or declined to more than 45° or upside-down.
Cautions

Changing the reversible door

The side at which the door opens can be changed from the right side (as supplied) to the left side of the installation site requires it.
Warning! When changing the side at which the door opens, the appliance must not be connected to the mains. Remove plug from the mains beforehand.Tilt the appliance slightly towards the rear and prop it securely. Unscrew the door hinge screws and remove the hinge pin bracket. Open the door a little way and take it out downwards.

Maintenance
★ The refrigerator should be cleaned and maintained once a month.★ When performing maintenance, make absolutely sure that the power plug is first disconnected from the power outlet.★ Wipe the inner and outer surface of the refrigerator and its accessories with a wet cloth. If they are too dirty, scrub them with neutral detergent, and then clean them with water and dry them with a clean cloth. After this, a small quantify of glass wax is recommended to polish the refrigerator surface with a flannelette.★ For cleaning, don’t use hot water, diluent, petrol, alcohol, kerosene, washing powder, cleanser, aikailinous detergent, acid, Chemical cloth, etc. So as not to damage the lacquer coat and plastics. Troubleshooting
1. When the refrigerator does not workCheck if there is a power failure.Check if the power plug is plugged into the power outlet.Check that the fuse has not blown.
2. When the refrigerator is cooling excessivelyThe temperature control dial may be set too high.If you place foodstuffs containing a lot of moisture directly under the cool air outlets, they will freeze easily.This does not indicate a malfunction.
3. When the refrigerator is not cooling sufficiently The food may be packed too tightly together which will block the flow of cool air.You may have put something hot or a lot of foodstuffs into the refrigerator.The door may not have been closed properly.The door gaskets may be damaged. 4. When the defrosting water overflows inside the refrigerator and onto the floor.Check that the drain pipe and the drain hose are not clogged.Check that the drain pan is housed properly.
5. When condensation forms on the outside of the refrigerator. Condensation may form on the outside when the humidity is high such as during a wet season. This is the same result as the condensation formed when chilled water is poured into a glass. It does not, therefore, indicate a failure, wipe dry with a dry cloth.6. When you hear a sound like water flowing.A sound like water flowing is the refrigerant flowing. It does not indicate a malfunction.7. When the cabinet’s side panel heats up The side panel of the cabinet will heat up when the door is opened or closed frequently, when starting the unit and when the unit operates in summer with high ambient outside temperature, In such case, do not touch the panel, it results from the dissipation of the heat from inside the cabinet, and it does not mean that something is wrong with the refrigerator.

1. Euromaid Express Warranty
Subject to the exclusions below, we warrant that the product will not have any electrical or mechanical breakdowns within:a) In the case of Euromaid products used for personal, domestic or household purposes, a period of 2 years from the date the product is purchased as a brand-new product from a retailer located in Australia / New Zealand.
b) In the case of Euromaid products used for purposes other than personal, domestic or household purposes (including business or commercial use), a period of 90 days from the date the product is purchased as a brand-new product from a retailer located in Australia/ New Zealand, Euromaid products are designed and intended for domestic use only; andc) All warranty repairs must be carried out by Glen Dimplex or their nominated service agentNote: warranty periods detailed above may vary in line with agreements with select retail and builder partners and may differ between Australia and New Zealand.
2. Warranty exclusions
This express warranty does not apply where:a) The product has been installed, used or operated otherwise than in accordance with the product manual or other similar documentation provided to you with the product;b) The product requires repairs due to damage resulting from accident, misuse, incorrect installation, insect or vermin infestation, improper liquid spillage, cleaning or maintenance, unauthorized modification, use on an incorrect voltage, power surges and dips, voltage supply problems, tampering or unauthorized repairs by any persons, use of defective or incompatible accessories or exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions, events independent of human control which occurred after the goods left the control of Glen Dimplex;c) The repair relates to the replacement of consumable parts such as fuses and bulbs or any other parts of the product which require routine replacement;d) You are unable to provide us with reasonable proof of purchase for the product;e) the breakdown occurs after the expiry of the express warranty period
3. Consumer guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian / New Zealand Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
4. How to make a claim
You may make a claim under this warranty through our website, contacting our customer care line or via email. Contact details for Glen Dimplex Australia and New Zealand can be found at the end of this documentTo make a valid claim under this warranty, you must:a) Lodge the claim with us as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after you first become aware of the breakdown;b) Provide us with the product serial number;c) Provide us with reasonable proof of purchase for the product. This can take the form of a store receipt, new home handover form or other payment receipt documentation; andd) If required by us, provide us (or any person nominated by us) with access to the premises at which the product is located at times nominated by us (so that we can inspect the product).
5. Warranty claims
If you make a valid claim under this warranty and none of the exclusions set out in section 2 apply. we will, at our election, either repair the product or replace the product with a product of identical specification (or where the product is superseded or no longer in stock, with a product of as close a specification as possible).
Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods. Products are designed and supplied for normal domestic use. We will not be liable to you under this warranty for business loss or damage of any kind whatsoever.
