If in any doubt, or where required by the law, consult a competent person who is registered with an electrical self-declaration scheme. Further information is available online or from your Local AuthorityTo prevent electric shock switch off at mains supply before installing or maintaining this fitting. Ensure other persons cannot restore the electrical supply without your knowledge. This light fitting should be connected to a 5 amp fused circuit. This product is suitable for installation on surfaces with normal flammability e.g. wood, plasterboard,masonry. It is not suitable for use on highly flammable surfaces (e.g. polystyrene, textiles).Ensure the correct fixings are used for the installation surface. For your safety, always switch off the supply before cleaning or adjusting. This product is dimmable when used with a suitable dimmable bulb.

Assembly
Refer to assembly drawings below. Carefully unpack the carton, making sure all the parts are present before assembly.
Step 1Before removing the existing fitting, carefully note the position of each set of wires.
Step 2See Figure 1. The drop of this product can be reduced and secured by unscrewing the clamp screw inside the ceiling cover and feeding the excess cable up into the ceiling cover and retightening the cable clamp once desired drop is reached. This will be easier to complete before attaching the product to the ceiling.
Step 3Refer to Figure 2. Remove the fixing bracket (A) from the ceiling cover by removing the side screws.
Step 4Refer to Figure 3. Attach the fixing bracket to the ceiling using the screws provided. Ensure there is a joist at the point of fixing to support the weight of the product. Take care to avoid damaging any concealed wiring and pipes.
Step 5Having identified the household wiring from your existing light fitting, connect to the connection block inside the product as shown. When completed, ensure that there are no bare or loose strands of wire exposed.
Check thatYou have correctly identified the house wires. The connections are tight. No loose strands have been left out of the connection block.Step 6Refer to Figure 4. Attach the product to the ceiling. This product has “L” shaped fixing slots (C) to allow easy attachment to the fixing bracket, as shown in Figure 2. Locate the “L” slots around the small screws (B) on the fixing bracket (A) Rotate the ceiling cover to attach the product to the bracket. Tighten the screws to secure. Take care not to trap any wiring.
Step 7Refer to Figure 4. This product is supplied with an optional hook to attach the cable to the ceiling if desired. Attach the disk (D) to the ceiling using the supplied fixings (E). Take care not to damage any concealed wiring or pipes. Place the cable through the hook (F). Then place the hook over the disk (D) and secure in place with the supplied hex screws (G) using the hex key (H). Tighten the cord grip (I) underneath to secure the cable.
Step 8Fit the bulb as per the details overleaf.Step 9Replace fuse or circuit breaker and switch on. Your light is now ready for use.
Care instructions
We recommend cleaning with a soft dry cloth. Do not use abrasive materials as these will damage the finish.
