Please indoor 5-minute simple basic function test verification before actual installation on the cars/trucks.

FUNCTIONS OF EACH PART

CAMERA INSTALLATION

1. Attach camera close to hitch ball, centered on vehicle.
2. Adjust the camera angle.
3. Recommended installation placement

MONITOR/SMARTPHONE INSTALLATION

1. To Attach the Pedestal mount to the dashboard or to the head-liner using self-tapping screws and/or the adhesive pad.
2. Attach monitor to mount, and adjust mounting angle to allow optimum driver viewing comfort.
3. Recommended installation location.
4. Download and install APP
5. Scan the QR code for your device below and download the App, For iPhone/iPad, if you can’t download by scanning qrcode, please search “SWD Camera” APP for apple store to install

START TO USE

1. First turn ON the camera by long press the power button, then the red led will turn on.
2. Open Wifi settings on your phone and connect to WiFi network named “SONiX_*******”
3. You must wait to confirm the WiFi connection status and keep it for about 5 seconds, then you can open the app, otherwise you will immediately encounter the “no picture” problem.
4. You will now be able to see the camera view on your smartphone!

FINISH/END TO USE

Turn OFF the camera by long press the power button, then the four led will flash once at the same time,avoiding the camera is always ON and therefore can drain the built-in battery.

FUNCTIONS AND OPERATION

1. Image flip setting: toggle between mirror/normal image.
2. Gridline setting :toggle between gridline ON/OFF.
3. Three charging methods: car charge cable and usb charge cable and power cable.

1. Failed to download and install APP
   • The APP is not suitable for Motorola/Nokia/Google phones and Android 10.1,IOS 13.5.1 version or above, please check the version of your phone system before purchasing.
   • For iPhone/iPad, if you can’t download by scanning qrcode, please search “SWD Camera” APP for apple store to install.
2. No signal, No found WiFi network named “SONiX_***”
   1. Please check whether the camera is powered on.
   2. Please check whether antennas are plugged on the camera.
   3. Please check the angle of the antenna.
   4. Please check whether metal obstacles near the antenna.
   5. Out of range, please add an antenna extender cable or change the camera mounting location
   6. First,Whether it is in power on mode? Observe whether the red led is on after SHORT press the power button. Second,Whether it is in power off mode?Observe whether the red led is on after LONG press the power button. At last, Is draining the battery ?Please charge first!
3. No picture
   1. Please check whether the phone is currently connected to the WiFi network named “SONiX_***”(No Inernet Connection), but not the other WiFi network names, avoid the other wifi network(not “SONiX_xxx”) auto-join and force forget this network, Only allow the wifi network named “SONiX_xxx” auto-join.
   2. Out of range, the wifi signal is blocked too badly or fps<10, please add an antenna extender cable or change the camera mounting location.Note: You must wait to confirm the WiFi connection status and keep it for about 5 seconds, then you can open the app, otherwise you will immediately encounter the “no picture” problem.
   3. Please check low voltage red light blinking(flash) indicator, please charge first!
4. Freezes and disconnects / Unstable / static video
   1. Out of range, Please add an antenna extender cable or change the camera mounting location.
   2. The wifi signal is blocked too badly or fps<10, please add an antenna extender cable or change the camera mounting location.
5. Fuzzy picture,Not clear
   1. Please remove the camera lens protector to get best picture quality after install.
   2. Please check whether wipe off the camera lens.
6. The mounted camera slides or fallsPlease check whether remove the film from the camera base, or Not steel iron furface.
