USAGE

UNLOCK WITH KEYPAD

1. Enter Primary Code by pressing the corresponding directions on lock keypad.NOTE: Do not pull on the shackle when entering code.
2. When lock lights green, open within five seconds or it will relock.

UNLOCK WITH MOBILE DEVICE

1. On mobile device, visit app store and download the free Master Lock Vault eLocks app.
2. Follow prompts to log into, or create, a Master Lock Vault account.
3. In Master Lock Vault eLocks app, press Add a Lock (+).
4. Enter Activation Code to register lock and follow instructions to connect mobile device to lock.
5. Press any button on lock keypad to wake up lock and prompt it to communicate with your mobile device.

NOTE: Lock is now in Touch Unlock mode. Recalibrate the phone-to-lock communication range in the app settings.

HOW TO UNLOCK WITH EXTERNAL BATTERY

1. If battery dies in locked position, remove bottom cover. (See Figure 1)
2. Hold a 9V battery to jump contacts on bottom of lock. (See Figure 2)
3. If in Touch Unlock mode, hold the battery in place with authorized mobile device within range and press any keypad button on the lock. If it does not unlock, enter primary code on lock keypad.
4. When unlocked, open battery door and install a new CR2 battery. (See Figure 3)

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

1. Lock will light yellow to indicate a low battery.
2. Unlock and open the lock.
3. Remove bottom cover. (See Figure 4)
4. Use a coin to turn battery door slot 90 degrees counter clockwise. Open battery door and remove old battery.(See Figure 5)
5. Install a new CR2 battery with positive (+) side facing right.
6. Close battery door, turn slot back 90 degrees clockwise and replace bottom cover. (See Figure 6)
