How Your Ultrasonic Dog Trainer Works
Turning On
Push the On/OFF SWITCH up to the ON position to turn on the ultrasonic trainer. When the dog trainer is turned on, it will vibrate slightly twice and the STATUS LED will flash twice.
Standby
After the dog trainer is turned on and isn’t operated , it will enter standby status. When the dog trainer is in standby mode the status LED will flash every 5 seconds. (When the power is sufficient , the green light flashes once every 5 seconds. When the power is low, the red light flashes once every 5 seconds. When the power is too low, the STATUS LED does not light up.)
Turning offPush the ON/OFF SWITCH down to the OFF position to turn off the ultrasonic trainer. When the ultrasonic trainer is off, all buttons will be inactive.
ChargingUse the attached USB cable to charge the ultrasonic trainer. It usually takes 4-5 hours to fully charge. When the charging cable is correctly connected, the ultrasonic trainer will vibrate slightly, and the STATUS LED will turn red. When the STATUS LED is red, it indicates that the ultrasonic trainer is charging. When the STATUS LED turns from red to green, it indicates that the ultrasonic trainer is fully charged. If powered on while charging, the ultrasonic trainer can worknormally.
Deterrent ModeTo stop inappropriate dog behavior, make sure the ultrasonic trainer is on, then press the DETER BUTTON, The ultrasonic trainer will emit ultrasonic sound, it will vibrate, and the STATUS LED will flash green quickly, indicating that the mode is functioning.
When your dog barks excessively or attempts to destroy something, press this button and the dog trainer will emit an ultrasonic sound to stop your dog at that exact moment.
When your dog stops, quickly pet it, or give it a treat or a toy to confirm that it was correct to stop, and that it can be rewarded for good behavior. In this way, you can effectively train your dog.Repeated use of this method can reinforce the training effect.
Note: This feature may not be suitable for all dogs. It is not recommended to use this function with sick or elderly dogs, puppies, pregnant or very aggressive dogs. You can use this function under the guidance of a professional dog trainer.
Low Battery Alert
When the dog trainer’s battery is low, the dog trainer will work normally and perform the following actions. In this case, the device should be charged soon:
- The STATUS LED flashes red twice when you turn on the device.
- When the device is on standby, the STATUS LED will flash red once every 5 seconds.
Empty Battery Alert
When the battery is empty and needs to be charged immediately, the STATUS LED will no longer light up. Pressing any button on the ultrasonic trainer will result in the STATUS LED flashing red 4 times quickly. At this time, the ultrasonic trainer cannot work normally and can only be used after charging.
Battery Maintenance
The ultrasonic trainer uses a lithium battery which requires routine recharging to achieve the maximum battery life span. If the ultrasonic trainer is unused for an extended period of time, fully charge the battery every 3 months to maintain battery life.
