Safety Instructions
Please read and understand all instructions before using this product. If damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions, this warranty is null and void.
WARNING: When using outdoor use products, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury, including the following:
- Keep these instructions.
- Do not drop, puncture, or disassemble this product.
- This LED light strip is suitable for use in wet locations. DO NOT SUBMERGE THE STRIP OR THE POWER SUPPLY UNIT IN WATER.
- The plug on the power supply unit must be connected to a GFCI protected hooded flush type cover plate receptacle marked “Wet Location” while in use outdoors.
- This product has a polarized plug and will only fit in a polarized outlet. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. Do not alter the plug.
- Use only with an extension cord rated for outdoor use. Use only three-wire outdoor extension cords that have three-prong grounding plugs and grounding receptacles that accept the appliance’s plug. Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted.
- Do not expose this product to open flames or use near fire.
- Do not use the product in a strong magnetic field.
- Use a clean, soft cloth to clean. Do not use any corrosive cleaners/oils to clean.
- Do not attempt to repair the device or open the unit as this will void the warranty.NOTE: You cannot connect additional light strips to this product.NOTE: If desired, you can cut the light strip to shorter lengths by cutting on the designated scissors marks. However, IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN CUT IT WILL NO LONGER BE WATER PROOF.

Get Started
- Determine where you will install the Indoor/Outdoor LED Light Strip. Make sure the location is close enough to a power source for the cord to reach without becoming a tripping hazard.
- Using the included mounting clips and screws, mount the Light Strip in the desired location. For best results place one clip approximately every 20″, or 5 scissors marks, to secure the entire light strip evenly.
Note: Move some mounting clips closer to corners to better secure the strip around turns, use fewer on straight areas. - Once installed, connect the power adapter to a powered outlet. (Outdoors this must be a GFCI protected outlet.)
- Remove the protective tab from the battery compartment of the remote. You are now ready to use your product.TIP: If the power adapter doesn’t reach to the ground from the outlet, use the keyhole hanger and a screw or nail to hang it.

IR Remote Operation
Note: For best operation, point the IR remote towards the IR Receiver (towards power adapter).
- Turn on the Indoor/Outdoor LED Light Strip by pushing the ON button on the remote control. (It will turn on into the last used lighting mode.)
- Select the desired color or effect by pushing the corresponding button on the remote control.
- Set the desired brightness using the buttons to increase/decrease the intensity of color.
- Push the OFF button to turn off the Light Strip.
Note: You can use this Light Strip with a timer outlet or smart plug as it will power on into the last used lighting mode.
Changing the remote control battery:Note: The battery for the remote control has already been installed. Remove the battery pull tab to operate.
- The battery compartment is located on the narrow side of the remote control.
- Remove the empty battery and insert a 3V battery, type CR2025, with the positive terminal pointing upwards.
- Place the battery compartment back in the remote control so it locks in place.

What Does This Warranty Cover?This warranty covers any defect or malfunctions in a new Monster product that you have purchased from an authorized Monster dealer and that comes with this warranty statement.
How Long Does the Coverage Last?This warranty lasts as long as you own your Monster product. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer it.

What This Warranty Will Not Cover?Any problem that is caused by abuse, misuse, commercial use, exposure to heat, bright light, sun, liquids sand, and other contaminants, contact with solvents or cleaners, malfunctions caused by other audio equipment, or an act of God (such as a flood) is not covered. Also consequential and incidental damages and costs of removal or installation is not covered under this warranty. Some states and countries do not allow the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
