Please reference from Specifications of storage and operation.2.7 It contains small parts, to avoid swallowing, children should use it under an adult’s supervisor.

How to install battery

This device needs batteries: DC 3V, 2)IrAAA, when the on-screen low voltage icon is flashing, then you need to replace new batteries.RS: The device is default without batteries, please buy batteries by yourself. Dissemble the battery cover according to the marked direction, [step1]Replace the battery according to the positive and negative anodes marked [step2]

Setting Operation

This thermometer is of five main functions of temperature unit, voice warning switch, temperature warning value, temperature deviation, and measuring mode, these functions can be set in the setting menu of measuring mode.

Measuring mode setting: Press the key of “measuring switch” to display, short-press “SET”, it is in body temperature mode: And then press “SET”, it will switch into shell temperature mode; Cycle in order, finally press the key “measuring mode” to confirm the selected mode!Mode [8.1] [8.2]

Temperature Unit Setting—FlPress “SET” for 2 seconds, the screen display as [8.3], repeatedly press the ” + ” button, select °F or °C as [8.4], [8.5].

Temperature Warning Point Setting-F2Press “SET” for 2 seconds, the screen display Fl, press “SET” button once to enter F2; Setting the warning point by press ” + ” to increase temperature value 0. 1 °C (O. 1^°F), press “-” to reduce temperature value 0.1 °C (0.1^°F) ;Attention: The default warning value is 38.5°C (101.8^°F).Manually temperature—F3Press “SET” for 2 seconds, the screen display Fl, press the “SET” button once to enter F2, and press the “SET” button once to enter F3; Setting the deviation value by press “+” to increase the temperature value 0. 1 °C(0. 1°F), press “-” to reduce temperature value 0.1°C (1.1 °F) ;Attention : Default temperature deviation value is 0°C(0°F).Mode Switch—F4Press the key of “measuring switch” to display, short-press “SET”, it is in body temperature mode: And then press “SET”, it will switch into shell temperature mode: Cycle in order, finally press the key “measuring mode” to confirm the selected mode !Audio warning ON/OFF Setting—F5

Press “SET” for 2 seconds, the screen display Fl, press the “SET” button four times to enter F5,Then press ” + ” to open, the screen display ON: or to close beep, the screen display OFF.
After entering the setting mode, if only need to modify one setting, you can continuously press “MENU” to select
If the device power off when keeps new setting, then the new setting will not be kept, please set again! And If it is in the menu setting condition, the measuring switch is not working, no measurement!

Warm notice:Body normal temperature is keeping changing within a stable range, and it is normal to test the different temperatures with several minutes intervals, and the body temperature varies from women and men, different body parts. Operation description

Forehead measuringOpen the battery cover and put in batteries, power on and enter into measuring mode, Switch the device into body temperature measuring mode, keep the device close to forehead around 3-5cm, press the measuring switch button, after “Di”, the measuring result will display on the screen; If need continuously measuring, you need to hold the measuring button.

Object measuringOpen the battery cover and put in batteries, power on and enter into measuring mode, Switch the device into body temperature measuring mode, keep the device close to object around 3-5cm, press the measuring switch button, after “Di”, the measuring result will display on the screen; If need continuously measuring, you need to hold the measuring button.7.1 Precautions

Before using the thermometer, please read this manual carefully and install batteries;
Do not put it into any liquid:
Do not put it under the condition of the too high or too low environment:
No collision, falling, and mixing with any shark objects, and do not disassemble it by yourself
Do not use it in conditions of strong electromagnetic interference environment:
Keep it out of the reach of children ;
Practicing and learning, but do not modify factory setting ;
The measuring results can not replace doctor’s diagnosis;

7.2 Warning

7.3 Reminding

Maintenance and precautions

Please keep the sensor and probe clean before and after using it, or it will affect its accuracy.

Surface cleaning:a, Make sure no water enters into the device:b, Do not wipe the lens with 75% ethyl alcohol{it will left residual water}_;c, Do not scratch the glass of the sensor ;d, Do not clean the lens with volatile oil, diluent, gasoline, or another chemical reagent {it will be harmful to the lens}
Sensor&Probe cleaning:Using a cloth or swab with medical alcohol to clean it, but need to wait until the alcohol is completely evaporated.

Please dispose of battery and electronic equipment appropriately, don’t throw it away anywhere, and avoid pollution.If you don’t use the thermometer for a long time, please take it out of the batteries.Calibration&MaintenanceThe accuracy of the thermometer has been tested strictly, We recommend that you can calibrate it yearly to make sure its accuracy and normal operation. 11.1 ContraindicationsNon11.2 Precautions

This device is a professional infrared thermometer to measure the human body According to different human skin, the measured temperature will be different.
When the room temperature changes greatly, the thermometer should be placed in the room for 20 minutes before use.
When the measured person comes from a place where the temperature is greatly different compared with measuring condition, please keep him stay in the measuring condition for at least 5 minutes, until the temperature is the same.
The surrounding environment of the tested people should be stable, and he should not be tested in places with big airflows such as fan and air vent of air
Do not use the device outdoors or under strong sunlight.
Do not hold the front end of the device when measuring.
The measuring site shall not be shaded by hair. If there are sweat stains, please use a dry towel to clean and then measure, or it will affect the measurement
After cooling measures or others on forehead, it will make the measurement result lower, please avoid measuring in that condition.
The life period is about 5 years, please change a new one when the using time of the thermometer is over 5 years.

The device is with 10 years of EFUP(Environmentfriendly Use Period), as you can see from the left picture. Other components like battery, its use period is not the same. The EFUP is only valid when the thermometer is used properly as required.
