- Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw securing the battery door, then pull up on the tab to remove the battery door. Insert three AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment. Replace the battery door and tighten the screw to secure it.
- Slide the treat-dispensing window completely closed. (This prevents kibble from falling out while you fill the hopper.)
- To open the hopper, press and hold the latch next to the hopper door, then slide the hopper door toward the latch and flip it open.
- Fill the hopper with up to 118 ml of dry kibble, then close the hopper door, making sure it clicks shut. Open the treat-dispensing window and adjust it to fit the size of the kibble you used.
- To turn on the treat dispenser, press the power button for two seconds. The treat dispenser beeps once and the wheels begin spinning. Place the treat dispenser on the ground and let playtime begin!
The treat dispenser runs for 10 minutes, then goes into sleep mode. If your dog nudges the treat dispenser again within 60 minutes, it wakes for another one-minute playtime. Remember to supervise your dog while he plays.
