Add The Device

Please make sure that Goowls camera connects to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and works well.(Not support 5G network)Find the USB port on the bottom of the device and plug in the power cord to power it on, please wait 20 seconds until you hear “DiDiDi”.Then go to the APP home page, click the “+” on the main screen, configure according to the instructions in the APP

How to connect with Amazon Alexa

Requirement:

  1. Amazon Alexa device and Alexa app.
  2. the smart Wi-Fi camera connected with YI loT App.
  3. YI loT App user ID and password.
  4. Please make sure your Alexa device has been added in the “Add Device” of the Alexa app

Add YI loT as a Skill for AlexaOpen the Alexa app and choose Skill & Games

-> Search for VI loT -> ENABLE TO USE -> Enter the VI loT account-> Authorize to use-> And then, the device you added on VI loT App will sync to Alexa App.Also, you can ask Alexa to discover new devices for you at this moment.Note: you need to set an exact name for the smart camera on VI loT App, if not, Alexa may tell you: ” Sorry, I can’t find the device named xxx…”

How can I receive the notification from the app?

Step 1:Make sure to turn on the Motion detection.

  1. Enter the camera “Settings” of Y1 lot
  2. Find the”Smart Detection-Settings-Motion”
  3. Turn on the “Motion Detection”
  4. Choose Sensitivity Level “High”
  5. Schedule alert time”24-hour alert”

Step 2:Make sure to allow notification of phone.

  1. 10SEnter the “Setting-Notifications-YI IOT app-Allow Notifications”
  2. AndriodEnter the “Setting-Apps-YI loT-Notifications-Allow notifications-Lock screen notifications-Show”

Step 3:Please make sure both camera and phone are well connected.

  1. Enter the “setting” of the phone
  2. )Find the YI lot app
  3. Click ‘Wireless Data-WLAN&Cellular Data”
