Rubicson 47008 Floor Fan

Assemble the base

  1. Start by removing the bent screw and base plate from under the bottom pillar. Place the pillar and base together
  2. Attach the base plate and use the locking screw to screw from below and tighten.
  3. Loosen the locking screw near the top of the bottom pillar and insert the fan head. Tighten the locking screw.

Assemble the fan

Assemble the fan Start to install the inner fan guard to the fan head. Unscrew the lock nut from the fan head to make sure the back grill is septate. Align the fan guard with the fan head and the sliding slot and push it up until it clicks into place. (See picture below).

Place the fan blade over the motor shaft, ensuring the groove on the back of the fan blade fits over the spacer pin on the motor shaft. Place the locking screw on top of the fan blade and tighten it counterclockwise. Align the front fan guard with the inner one and push them together until they are secured.

Adjust the height

The installation of the fan is now finished. Use it as a table fan or floor fan by adjusting the height. Loose the pillar and tighten the fan head at your preferred height

Use

Make sure the fan is turned off. Connect the fan to a wall socket, 230V. Adjust the fan’s speed with the controls on the stand or the remote control.

Functions

Press the On/Off button on the stand or the remote control to activate the fan. The fan has three speed settings, it will start at its lowest and go up when you press the On/Off button on the stand again, it will then turn off when clicked a fourth time. If the remote control is being used, press the+/ – to adjust the speed.Press the timer button on the stand or the remote control to activate the timer feature. It has a range from 1 to 8 hours. Keep pressing the timer button to add an hour to the timer. The display will show the chosen time.To set the timer for when the fan should start, press the timer button while the fan is in standby mode.To set the timer for when the fan is about to turn off, press the timer button while the fan is running.Press the DSC button on the stand or the remote control to activate the motor function (where it will rotate back and forth), press it again to turn it off.

Cleaning

Always disconnect the fan before cleaning. Clean the fan with a damp cloth

Safety information

Never touch the surfaces in motion. Place the fan on a flat and stable surface. Do not place the fan or cord near water. Keep away from children. Make sure that the collar around the fan guard is tight before use. Do not remove the fan guards during maintenance.If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent to avoid a hazard.Do not disassemble the appliance yourself. Repair shall only be made by a qualified person.
