Midea Product Warranty Terms & Conditions1)Warranty is valid for products distributed by Midea Scott & English Electronics Sdn Bhd (MSEE) in Malaysia only.2)Warranty does not cover those parts subject to wear and tear and will be void if:a. Warranty registration card is not received by MSEE within 14 days from the date of purchase.b. Particulars on the warranty card is altered in any manner whatsoever.c. The serial number on the product removed, tempered with or rendered illegible.d. The product has not been used in normal conditions it was intended for or in accordance with operating instructions or if it has been damaged in transportation or subjected to rough handling or misuse.e. The damage is directly or indirectly caused by the attack of household pests, wrong voltage, flood, fire, theft, lightning or any convulsion of nature.f. Products is being repaired, tampered with, altered or modified in any way by an unauthorised person or technicians.3)Warranty does not extend to external/internal appearances, shelves, trays, antenna, batteries, remote control, buttons, knobs or accessories supplied with the products.4)Claim for repair/service affected elsewhere will not entertain.5)Warranty by product category:-Wall-mounted Air-conditionera. 2 years full warranty including parts and labour.b. 5 years for compressor excluded labour and gas recharging cost. Only one free replacement within the warranty period.Portable Air-conditionera. 1-year full warranty including parts and labour.b. 5 years for compressor excluded labour and gas recharging cost. Only one free replacement within the warranty period.Ceiling Cassette/Floor Standing Air-conditionera. 1-year full warranty including parts and labour.b. 5 years for compressor excluded labour and gas recharging cost. Only one free replacement within the warranty period.Refrigerator and Freezer1-year full warranty including parts and labour.5 years for compressor excluded labour and gas recharging cost. Only one free replacement within the warranty period.Semi-auto Washing Machine1-year full warranty including parts and labour.5 years for compressor excluded labour and gas recharging cost.
