Introduction

Thanks for buying and using our wifi repeater .This manual has full introduced the features and methods of configuration of the device, please read this manual. This repeater can extend the wifi signal, with the features of high speed, comprehensive compatibility, easy installation smart web management, and exquisite size.

This device can be used in small apartments , coffee bars , libraries , hotels and places with weak wireless connections.

Interface/Button and Indicator

PC setting

1. Connect your PC to the device by LAN port wired or by wifi connecting “ALLTEQ Wifi Repeater”.(Default password is “12348765”)
2. Confirm your PC is in ” Obtain an IP address automatically ” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically”.

Login in

1. Input the default IP address 192.168.10.1 in your browser, open the software interface as picture 1.
2. The default user name and password is “admin”, “admin”, click the login in, you will enter into the system interface, the Setup wizard will popup as picture 2.

Click the next step, choosing a connection type based on your internet connection methods.

1. If you need to extend the wifi signal, please choose the Repeater mode and click the Next.Click “scan router network”, the page will show the wifi network name (Router SSID) all around, enabling the one you want to repeat, fill in the wifi password (Router password) and click finish button to finish the configuration.
   • Router password : the wifi password of the ready-to-extend wifi name.
   • Copy from router: in “ON ” status, the device will generate the same wifi name as the router does, and also the same wifi password. In “OFF” status, the device will generate new SSID, will be like SSID_EXT, password need to be set by users themselves.
   • Repeater SSID : the wifi name sent by the device.
   • Encryption type support “no encryption” “WPS-PSK” “WPA2-PSK” Repeater password: can be set by users themselves.
2. If you need to turn the wired network to wifi network, please check AP mode and then the Next.Set the wifi name and password, and click finish.SSID: wifi signal nameEncryption type support “no encryption” “WPS-PSK” “WPA2-PSK”

Smartphone setting

1. Connecting the wifi name “ALLTEQ Wifi Repeater” by smartphone, password “12345678”.
2. Open the browser in your smart phone, input “192.168.10.1”.
3. The following setting methods are almost the same as setting in PC , please refer to the PC setting.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

The receipt must clearly list the date of purchase and the part number, in addition it should be printed. Keep the receipt for the entire warranty period since it is required for all warranty claims. During the warranty period the defective items will be credited, repaired or replaced at the manufacturer’s expense. Work carried out under the warranty neither extends the warranty period nor starts a new warranty period. The manufacturer reserves the right to void any warranty claim for damages or defects due to misuse, abuse or external impact (falling down, impact, ingress of water, dust, contamination or break). Wearing parts (e.g. rechargeable batteries) are excluded from the warranty. Upon receipt of the RMA goods, Gembird Europe B.V. reserves the right to choose between replacement of defective goods or issuing a credit note. The credit note amount will always be calculated on the basis of the current market value of the defective products.
