Important Product Information

Safety InformationFAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN FIRE,ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR OTHER INJURY OR DAMAGE.

 Battery Safety

HANDLE WITH CARE. Your device contains a rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery and should be replaced only by a qualified service provider. Do not disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred or attempt to access the battery in your device. Do not modify or remanufacture the battery, attempt to insert foreign objects into the battery, or immerse or expose it to water or other liquids, expose to fire, explosion or other hazard. Only use the battery for the system for which it is specified. Use of an unqualified battery or charger may present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage or other hazard. Do not short-circuit a battery or allow metallic conductive objects to come into contact with battery terminals. Avoid dropping the device or battery. If the device or battery is dropped, especially on a hard surface, and the user suspects damage, do not attempt repair. Contact Amazon Customer Service for assistance.

Your device should only be charged using the included USB charging clip. Your USB charging clip should be powered using a compatible USB charger or USB port that is compliant with safety standards, such as IEC 62368-1 and/or IEC 60950-1. Do not charge your device near water or in extremely humid conditions.

 Water Protection

Your device has a water resistance rating of 50m. This means that it may be used for shallow water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean and can be worn in the shower. It should not be used while sitting in a sauna, diving in the ocean or other activities involving high velocity water or submersion below shallow depths. However, if your device gets wet, make sure the device is completely dry before charging. Water can be wiped off the device with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth. Do not charge your device until it has dried completely. Failure to properly dry your device may over time lead to compromised performance or corrosion of some components. Do not intentionally immerse your device or charger in other liquids (such as beverages). Do not expose your device or charger to pressurized water, high-velocity water or extremely humid conditions (such as a steam room). Do not spill any food, oil, lotion, or other abrasive substances on your device or charger. Wipe the affected item with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth and allow the affected item to fully dry in a well-ventilated area before using. Do not attempt to dry your device with an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or a hair dryer. If the device, cable, or charger appear damaged, discontinue use immediately. Use only accessories supplied with the device to charge your device. If your device is dropped or otherwise damaged, it may be compromised when exposed to water or sweat.

Before using Halo Band, consult your physician if you have epilepsy, are sensitive to flashing lights, take photosensitive medication, have a heart condition, have reduced circulation or easily bruise, or have tendonitis, carpal tunnel, or other musculoskeletal conditions. Also consult your physician before starting or changing any exercise program.

Cleaning and Handling Instructions; Skin IrritationClean Halo Band (both the sensor and the band itself) regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth, especially the areas that make contact with the skin. Do not use abrasive chemicals or materials. If necessary, the fabric band can be hand washed in cold water with mild soap, making sure to rinse thoroughly afterwards. Let the fabric band air dry after rinsing. Please refer to the cleaning and care instructions available in the Halo app at Settings > Legal for more information.

Do not wear Halo Band too tightly. Wear it loose enough to allow air circulation. In addition to keeping the charging clip, sensor, and band clean, be sure to dry the device and its accessories after exposure to water, sweat, or other liquids, as well as dry the area of your skin that makes contact with the sensor and band. After extended wear, remove the device for an hour to give your wrist a rest and allow your skin to breathe.

Prolonged use or improper maintenance of Halo Band may contribute to skin irritation or allergies in some users. Individuals with skin sensitivities, including to nickel, may be more likely to experience irritation from wearable devices. If skin irritation, allergies, redness, swelling, or other problems develop, remove and discontinue use of your Halo Band immediately and consult a physician.

Do not expose your Halo Band or charging clip to extreme heat or cold. Store Halo Band, charging clip, and the charging cable in a location where temperatures remain within the storage temperature ranges set forth in this guide. The device and the included accessories are designed to function within the operating temperature ratings set forth in this guide. If it is too hot or too cold, Halo Band or its accessories may not turn on, charge, or function properly until they have warmed or cooled, as the case may be, to within the applicable temperature ratings.

Keep the device, charging clip, and cable in a well-ventilated area and away from heat sources, especially when in use or charging. If Halo Band becomes warm, take it off immediately and place on a surface that is at room temperature. Do not charge your device near water or in extremely humid conditions.
