Amigo Motorola APX Dongle Covert Wireless Earphone Bluetooth Interface
PAIRING AMIGO PROCEDURE:
Power OFF the Amigo.Press and hold the Amigo PTT button and Power ON the Amigo.Hold the PTT button until you see the LED lights flashing fast.Release the PTT button and turn the Amigo OFF.The Amigo now has no devices in its pairing list.
PAIRING AMIGO APX DONGLE PROCEDURE:
Turn the radio off.Attach the Amigo APX Dongle to radio.Line up the Amigo with the Dongle screw. See Figure A (Keep the Amigo Turned OFF).While touching the Amigo to the dongle turn on the radio.

The Red and Blue LED’s on dongle will turn on giving a purplish display. The dongle is now in paring mode. See figure B.
If the Red and Blue LED’s flash on the dongle, turn the radio off, move the Amigo slightly, then turn radio back on.

Separate the Amigo from dongle by approximately 1” (2-3cm) and turn on the Amigo.The Red LED will turn on for 1 second.The Blue LED will turn on for I second, the dongle is now paired to the Amigo.
Note: If the Dongle’s Red LED turns on solid, the Bluetooth has lost sync, turn the radio off for 10 seconds and then resume previous procedure.
VOLUME Control:
The earpiece volume is controlled by the radio volume knob. It is recommended to adjust the volume knob to about 50% volume, then increase or decrease to a comfortable level. Use the Amigo volume up/down buttons to adjust volume to a comfortable level.
