Please read this Battery Box user manual before use.

WARNINGS AND SAFETY INFORMATION

  • Before installing a battery in the Battery Box, ensure that you have read through all relevant product and safety information for that battery.
  • Do not insert foreign objects into the ports of the Battery Box as this may lead to electric shock.
  • Do not submerge the Battery Box in liquids.
  • Do not attach a battery to the Battery Box if it or your hands are currently exposed to moisture or rain.
  • Do not expose the Battery Box to extreme temperatures.
  • When charging, adequate ventilation must be provided to dissipate heat and battery gases. Keep clear of naked flames, sparks or conductive material while charging a battery.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the Battery Box as this may result in electric shock, fire or explosion. Any attempt to disassemble, perform unapproved repairs or make modifications to the Battery Box will void the warranty.
  • Always use safe lifting techniques when lifting and installing the Battery Box.
  • The Battery Box is not intended to be installed or operated by people (including children) with reduced physical or mental capabilities, or those who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Make sure that you attach the correct wires to the appropriate terminals of your battery; incorrect installation could result in damage to the unit or voiding of the warranty.
  • Do not use the Battery Box to charge medical devices.WARNING: The positive and negative terminals on the exterior of the battery box are not fused. Ensure that you install fuses or circuit breakers where necessary.

INCLUDED IN THE KIT

  1. Negative (-) terminal
  2. Circuit breaker reset (10A)
  3. Digital voltmeter
  4. On/off switch
  5. Positive (+) terminal
  6. Anderson socket (30A fuse)
  7. 5V USB ports (1A/2.1A) (10A circuit breaker)
  8. 12V cigarette socket (1OA fuse)

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove the lid of the Battery Box.
  2. Place the battery in the Battery Box.
  3. Slot in the divider to prevent movement of the battery inside the Battery Box.
  4. Attach the eyelets from the Battery Box lid to the corresponding positive and negative terminals on the battery. Fasten the bolts firmly, ensuring they will not vibrate loose.
  5. Place lid onto the Battery Box, making sure that it is evenly and completely shut.
  6. With the lid on and the terminals connected, switch the battery to on using the on/off switch and test the voltage with the voltmeter.
  7. If the voltmeter lights up and displays the battery’s voltage, you can now secure the lid.
  8. To secure the lid, thread the strap around the box and through the two plastic buckles.Fasten and secure on top of the unit.
  9. You are now free to plug in your devices to power them with your battery.

Checking battery voltage Troubleshooting

  1. Attach a battery to the Battery Box, ensuring the terminals are properly fitted and turn the on/off switch to the on position.
  2. Press and hold the red button to the right of the display.
  3. The Battery Box display will now show the voltage that the Battery Box is outputting.

If you are not receiving power through the cigarette socket or USB ports:

  • Reset the circuit breaker using the small black button shown above.

If you are not receiving power through the weatherproof plugs:

  • Check the fuses circled above and replace if necessary.
  • To gain access to fuse holders, remove the platform (2 Philips head screws).
  • Reinstall the platform when complete.
