Thank you for purchasing an Aqua-Vu Underwater Camera Viewing System. Please read this Quick Start Guide carefully before using.

AQUA-VU UNDERWATER CAMERA ADAPTOR SYSTEM

  • Camera Control Box with Light Controls / 12v Power Supply Cable
  • Standard Definition Color Camera with XD housing
  • 75 feet of Cable with Wrap
  • RCA Video Out (Monitor not included)

WARNINGS: Always keep camera cable away from children as well as ice augers, propellers, etc. Keep the monitor and camera away from portable heaters, radiators, or other heat generating equipment. Avoid wedging the camera in rocks, roots, submerged trees, or underwater debris. Do not store unit in damp places. Do not attempt to disassemble the waterproof casing of the camera or monitor. This voids the warranty.

STEP 1: POWER

Connect the supplied 12v Power Leads to a 12v power source. Turn the Power Button on the control box to ON. Lights can be adjusted using the variable Light Switch.

STEP 2: VIDEO

Insert the Yellow Video Out Cable into any RCA compatible TV, Monitor or Sonar (additional adaptor cables may be required–Please check with sonar manufacturer on how to connect a video device).

STEP 3: DEPLOY

Unwind the desired length of cable and slowly lower the camera down into the water.

STEP 4: USING THE XD QUICK ATTACHMENT SYSTEM

Aqua-Vu’s Patent Pending XD Quick Attachment System allows you to quickly and easily change your camera’s accessories.

  • XD Camera Housing with Quick Attach Rails
  • To attach XD Positioning Fin, simply slide & secure onto top rail.
  • XD Adjustable Camera Positioning Fin.

Cable Routing: The following cable routing methods will allow multiple viewing options:

  • #1 90° Vertical camera orientation/Up viewing
  • #2 45° Up viewing
  • #3 Horizontal viewing
  • #4 45° Down viewing

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Outdoors Insight, Inc. warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period one-year from the original date of purchase. Aqua-Vu will at its sole discretion repair or replace any components that fail in normal use. Failures caused by abuse, misuse, alteration, or self-repair are not covered under warranty. The warranty is valid for the original owner and is non-transferable.

ADDITIONAL WARRANTY/SERVICE NOTES

  • Outdoors Insight, Inc. retains the exclusive right to repair or replace the unit at its discretion.
  • The customer is responsible for shipping costs associated with returning the unit to Outdoors Insight, Inc.
  • Outdoors Insight, Inc. will pay for shipping the repaired unit back to the customer while it is still under warranty.
  • All out of warranty services will be charged a fee for service and shipping which must be paid in advance.
  • It is the consumers’ full responsibility to track their products sent out in the mail or other forms of delivery service.
  • Outdoors Insight Inc. will not be liable for lost packages. Unless specified otherwise, do not include battery or other accessories when returning your Aqua-Vu unit.

Please print a copy of the Return Authorization and include inside your shipping box. We also ask that you write the Return Number on the outside of the box as this will increase the speed at which your case is processed. The Address for Returns is:
