SETUP & USAGE

BATTERY INSTALLATION & POWER SUPPLY

  • The scale can be powered with (2) “AAA” batteries or an external power supply.

Note: Batteries and power supply can be used at the same time. If used simultaneously, the external power supply will be prioritized.The power supply will not charge the batteries.POWER ON

  • Place the scale on a hard, flat, and level surface.
  • Press the POWER key to power it on.It will display “-188888”, then “0.000lb.”

NORMAL WEIGHING

  • Place the object in the center of the platform.The scale will display the weight of the object when reading is stable.
  • Press the UNIT key to switch between metric and imperial units.

TARE FUNCTION

  • Place an item on the scale and wait for a stable weight.
  • Press the TARE key to zero out the weight of the item.

POWER OFF

  • When the scale is powered by batteries, it turns off automatically after (5) minutes of inactivity.• When the scale is powered by an adapter, press the POWER key to power it off.

CLEANING & STORAGE

  • Dampen a cloth with a mild soap solution to clean the scale
  • Do not use any harsh chemical cleaners.
  • Do not wash down or immerse the scale. Any liquid inside the scale can cause permanent damage.
  • Remove batteries from the scale when they will not be used for an extended period of time.

The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall govern this warranty and the parties’ rights and duties under it. AvaWeigh shall not under any circumstances be liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of profits.
