AVM FRITZ!Fon C6 IP-Telephone Cordless

  • FRITZ!Fon C6 must be registered with a DECT base station that is connected with the internet or the landline telephone network.
  • FRITZ!Fon C6’s complete range of functions is available only when it is used in combination with a FRITZ!Box.

Starting and Registering

  1. Pull the protective film off the battery in the FRITZ!Fon C6. FRITZ!Fon C6 starts automatically.
  2. Press the registration button on your DECT base station. Depending on the device, it is usually called the DECT or Paging button. FRITZ!Fon C6 is connected with the DECT base station and can be used immediately.

Mounting and Loading

  1. Connect the charging station to electric power.
  2. Place FRITZ!Fon C6 in the charging station. The battery will be charged.

FRITZ!Fon C6 on a DECT Base Station

For operation, FRITZ!Fon C6 must be registered with a DECT base station that is connected with the internet or the landline telephone network.FRITZ!Fon C6 can be registered on up to 4 DECT base stations, but actively connected with only one DECT base station at a time.Registering with Further DECT Base Stations

  1. Press MENU.
  2. Navigate to Settings / Registration /Register.
  3. Follow the instructions on the FRITZ!Fon C6 display.If your DECT base station is not a FRITZ!Box, be sure to have the PIN of your DECT base station on hand for entry on the FRITZ!Fon C6.

Switching Active DECT Base Stations

  1. Press MENU.
  2. Navigate to Settings / Registration /Select base.
  3. Select a DECT base station and press OK.

Deregistering from a DECT Base Station

  1. Press MENU.
  2. Navigate to Settings / Registration /Deregister.
  3. Select a DECT base station and press OK.

Navigation

The functions of FRITZ!Fon C6 are accessed using a menu, which has a main menu and several submenus.

  • Navigate up and down through the menus using the arrow keys.
  • Select and confirm functions with OK or by pushing the right Select key.
  • Use the left Select key to cancel your selection or return to the next higher menu.
  • With the red End Call key you return to the start screen or end a call.

  2. Press the Connect key.
  3. End the call using the End Call key.

Operating Devices in the Home NetworkWith FRITZ!Fon C6 you can control your AVM Smart Home products.

  1. Press MENU.
  2. Navigate to Home Network / Smart Home.

Switching Wi-Fi On and OffWith FRITZ!Fon C6 you can switch your FRITZ!Box’s Wi-Fi on and off.

  1. Press MENU.
  2. Navigate to Home Network / Wi-Fi.
  3. Press OK and select On/Off.

Changing the Start ScreenFRITZ!Fon C6 has various start screens which provide direct access to selected contents.

  1. Press the MENU key twice in a row.
  2. Navigate rightward to the desired start screen.

Receiving MessagesWhenever you wish, the message key informs you about missed calls, messages on the answering machine, new email, podcasts, or updates.

Manufacturer’s Warranty

We offer a manufacturer’s warranty of 2 years for this original product. The warranty period begins with the date of purchase by the first end user. Compliance with the warranty period can be proven by submission of the original invoice or comparable documents. This warranty does not restrict your warranty rights based on the contract of sale or other statutory rights.Within the warranty period, we will remove de-fects to the product which are demonstrably due to faults in materials or manufacturing. Our war-ranty does not cover defects which occur due to incorrect installation, improper use, non-obser-vance of instructions in the user manual, normal wear and tear or defects in the environment of the system (third-party hardware or software). We may, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective product. Claims other than the right to the removal of defects which is mentioned in these terms of warranty are not constituted.

We guarantee that the software conforms with general specifications, not, however, that the software meets your individual requirements. Delivery costs will not be reimbursed. Products which have been replaced revert to our owner-ship. Claims recognized under warranty entail neither an extension or recommencement of the warranty period. If we reject a warranty claim, this claim lapses no later than six months after being rejected by us.This warranty shall be governed by German substantive law, to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the Inter-national Sale of Goods (CISG).
