INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

IMPORTANT – Read the instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference. The removable heating pad filled with flax seeds is especially designed for little ones. This little pad can be heated up in the microwave (see instructions below). When heated to the ideal temperature of 40 °C, the flax seeds release comforting warmth to soothe cramps or colic, thereby relaxing babies and encouraging them to fall asleep.

  1. Open the lounger cover using the zip, unbutton the inner heating pad and place it on a clean plate (at room temperature). Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds at 800W power.
  2. Check the temperature (once the heating pad has been placed back inside the cover and the zip fastened); to be effective, it should be between 40°C minimum and 42°C maximum. If necessary, heat for a further few seconds until the required temperature is reached.
  3. Place your child on their back with their head on the breathable fabric.
  4. Place the left end of the roll underneath the baby’s legs then fit it against their bottom to lift their legs, recreating the foetal position and promotingbetter digestion. Fasten the roll using the press-studs, according to the size of the baby.
  5. Button the heating pad to the roll on the anti-colic lounger, fasten the zip and place the right end of the roll on the baby’s tummy. The light pressure and warmth from the heating pad on the tummy promotes better digestion and relieves colic (the warmth the baby feels is similar to being in the womb or in their parents arms).

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Read the following instructions before use. Keep them for future reference.

  • Heat up the removable pad only, never the entire product.
  • Check that the microwave is always clean.
  • Ensure that the microwave turntable can turn freely. If your microwave does not have a turntable, turn the pad over half-way through the heating time to ensure the heat is evenly distributed.
  • Ensure that the other microwave functions are not activated, such as the grill or convection function.
  • Check the temperature of the heating pad before use! The heat produced in the microwave gradually spreads outwards from the centre. This means that the pad may not have reached its definitive temperature at the time it is removed from the microwave.
  • Allow the pad to cool completely before re-heating it or putting it away.

Warning! A few important points.

  • This product is not a toy.
  • Never use the product without its outer cover.
  • Never allow children to heat up or use this item without adult supervision.
  • Warning: only heat up the pad from room temperature. The heating pad may take up to 2 hours to reach room temperature.
  • Warning: to be heated up in the microwave by a responsible adult only. Risk of burning.
  • Do not use a traditional oven or other heat source to heat up the cushion. It can only be heated up in the microwave!
  • Do not overheat.
  • If the heating time is exceeded or the pad is heated up at an overly high power level, this does not mean it will stay warmer for longer but creates a risk of setting on fire or burning.
  • Check the temperature of the heating pad with a thermometer before use!
  • Regularly check the condition of the heating pad. If it is damaged, burnt or dried out, STOP using it. Always check the stitching on the seed bag. If seeds escape from the bag, throw them away out of reach of children; risk of swallowing and choking. Do not swallow the contents.
  • Inspect regularly, and throw the item away if the fabric is damaged.
  • Keep away from flames.
  • After each use, keep it in a dry place away from moisture.
  • This item must not be used as a substitute for medical treatment.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS!

  • Put your baby to sleep on their back. This reduces the risk of cot death. Never place the child on their tummy or side.
  • After placing the baby on the lounger, check that their head is correctly positioned on the upper part made from breathable fabric.
  • Ensure that the baby is not too hot.
  • Never carry your baby in the lounger.
  • Not to be used in a car.
  • Only use the lounger on a stable, clean and horizontal surface.
  • Avoid placing soft items (such as pillows or soft toys) in the cot.
  • The lounger is suitable from birth up to the age of 3-4 months (depending on the size of the child).
  • Always keep the product packaging out of the reach of babies and children during and after unwrapping to avoid any risk of suffocation.
