Check your device’s documentation for clarification. · Not all USB-C cables support DisplayPort protocol. Use a USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 cable to ensure compatibility. To connect a device with HDMI or USB-C with DisplayPort: 1. Connect the device to the HDMI or USB-C port on the projector. A pop-up notification will appear indicating that a device is connected. 2. Confirm whether you want to project video from the device. The video from the device will be displayed once the signal from the device isdetected. If no signal is detected or the signal is interrupted a message will appear.3. Use the source menu or press the home button to exit and go back to the Android TV home screen. 4. If the device remains connected and you want to project its video again press the source button , and then select the corresponding port inthe source menu.· Some computers feature HDMI ports that do not transmit audio, in such cases a separate audio cable must be connected to the projector. · Some laptops do not turn on their external video ports when connected to a projector. Usually a key combination like Fn + F3 or CRT/LCD key turns the externaldisplay on/off. Locate a function key labeled CRT/LCD or a function key with a monitor symbol on the laptop. Press Fn and the labeled function key simultaneously. Refer to your laptop’s documentation to discover your laptop’s key combination.48

Connecting a flash driveConnect a USB-C drive to the respective port on the projector to play media files stored on the flash drive. To play media files stored on a flash drive: 1. Connect the flash drive to the USB-C port. A pop-up notification will appear indicating that a storage device is connected. 2. Select the type of media file you want to play.3. Navigate to and select the media file you want play. The projector’s media player will launch.49

Bluetooth connectionsThe projector allows the following types of Bluetooth connections: · Connect a mobile device to the projector to broadcast audio through the projector’s speakers. · Connect to a Bluetooth-enabled speaker or headphones to output audio directly for greater sound.Using the projector as a Bluetooth speaker1. See Installing the ATV dongle on page 28 for details.50

Ending the Bluetooth connectionIn cases where you want to disconnect the mobile device from the projector, either: · Disconnect from the projector in the Bluetooth menu of your mobile device. · Press the Bluetooth button on the projector to return the projector to projector mode. · Press and hold the power button on the projector or remote control to power off the projector.Pairing/Connecting to a Bluetooth speaker or headphonesThe Bluetooth function for a GV30 projector is built in the Android system, whose hardware is independent of other input sources like HDMI. Thus, the Bluetooth function will only be available when using the projector’s built-in Android as an input source. In other words, due to current hardware limitations, the projector won’t be able to transmit audio using HDMI to external Bluetooth speakers. If you have any further questions, please contact your local customer care team for more assistance. 1. Make sure the ATV dongle is installed properly (see Installing the ATV dongle on page 28). 2. Power on the projector (see Starting up the projector on page 32). 3. Press the settings button on the remote control 4. Select Remotes & Accessorries. 5. Select Add accessory. 6. Item Aspect Ratio Test PatternHigh Altitude Mode

Options and descriptionsThere are several options to set the image’s aspect ratio depending on your input signal source. Options include: · Auto: Scales an image proportionally to fit the projector’s native resolution in its horizontal or vertical width. · Real: Projects an image as its original resolution and resizes it to fit within the display area. For input signals with lowerresolutions, the projected image will be displayed in its original size. · 4:3: Scales an image so that it is displayed in the center of the screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio. · 16:9: Scales an image so that it is displayed in the center of the screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio.Displays the test pattern grid, which helps you adjust the image size and focus to check if the projected image is free of distortion. We recommend you use the High Altitude Mode when your environment is between 1500 m – 2000 m above sea level, and ambient temperature is between 0°C to 30°C. Operation under High Altitude Mode may cause a higher decibel operating noise level because of increased fan speed necessary to improve overall system cooling and performance. If you use this projector under other extreme conditions excluding the above, it may display auto shut-down symptoms, which is designed to protect your projector from over-heating. In cases like this, you should switch to High Altitude Mode to solve these symptoms. However, this is not to state that this projector can operate under any and all harsh or extreme conditions.

Do not use the High Altitude Mode if your altitude is between 0 m and 1500 m and ambient temperature is between 0°C to 35°C. The projector will be over cooled, if you turn the mode on under such a condition.
