Using your charging pad

  1. Connect the charging cable to your charging pad.
  2. Plug the other end of the cable into a USB port on a computer or into a power adapter. See “Choosing the right USB power adapter” for power requirements.Choosing the right USB power adapter• A Quick Charge (QC) 2.0 or QC 3.0 charger is required to obtain the full 10 W of wireless charging performance.• A minimum of a 5 V/2 A (10 watts) USB charger or powered USB port is required to obtain 5 W of wireless charging performance.• Using low-power USB ports (with less than 5 V/2 A of power output) could cause poor performance or cause the wireless charger to not work.
  3. Place your Qi-enabled device on the center of your charging pad with the screen facing up. The LED is blue/purple when your device is charging.Note: If the LED is red, your device is not charging. See “TROUBLESHOOTING” for more information.

Troubleshooting

Device not charging/LED is red

  • Make sure that your device is Qi-enabled.
  • Make sure that your charging pad is connected to a working USB port.
  • Make sure that your powered USB port meets the minimum power requirements.
  • Make sure that your device is positioned correctly on your charging pad.
  • Make sure that there are no other objects on the charging pad.
  • Remove your device’s case. It may be blocking the wireless signal Device charges slowly
  • Your device may charge more slowly with the charging pad than a charging cable. This is normal behavior.
  • Make sure that your device is positioned in the center of your charging pad.
