Features

Caution:

  1. Do not use this device in flammable atmospheres to avoid possible serious injury.
  2. Filters should be correctly installed and changed periodically to avoid exposure to contaminants.
  3. Do not operate the system without filters to avoid unwanted contaminants getting drawn-in thereby damaging the blower and control circuits.
  4. Charge Power Bank with supplied charger properly to Avoid accidents and fire.
  5. Do not allow the system to soak in water or any other liquid to avoid malfunction.

Replacing Air Filters

  1. Remove the Filter Cover by unscrewing two Filter Cover Clamping Knobs.
  2. Slightly twist the existing filter cartridge and pull out.
  3. Unpack the fresh filter from its protective pouch and place the smaller end of the filter cartridge in the filter adapter tube.
  4. Secure the filter in the tube by slightly twisting the cartridge inwards – do not force.
  5. Replace the Filter Cover and secure with two Filter Cover Clamping Knobs – do not over tighten the Knobs.
  6. Replace both filters using this method.
  7. Replace both filters after 100 hours of use.

Filter Specification and Source:

  1. Filters, Model No. BB50T, manufactured by Pall Corporation, USA, are used in this device.
  2. These filters have reported airborne bacterial and viral removal efficiency of at least 99.999%.
  3. These Filters need to be replaced every 2 weeks or approximately 100 hours of usage. Replacement filters (Pall BB50T) can be purchased directly from: BHT Technologies LLP

Power Bank:

  1. Intelligent modern 20,000 mAh Power Bank, built based on Qualcomm (Quick Charge) QC 2.0/3.0 Protocol has been used for this system.
  2. These are quick charge batteries, which have input and output of 9 and 12 Volts, apart from the Normal 5 Volts.
  3. Xiaomi MI Power bank models PB200LZM, PLM18ZM or equivalent can be used in this system.
  4. These intelligent power banks can be charged with normal 5 volt power pack chargers but will take much longer time to get fully charged up (About 14 Hours).
  5. Intelligent, QC compatible chargers similar to the supplied Xiaomi MI Model No. MDY-08- EW will be Able to recharge the Power Bank with 18 Watts of power in much shorter time (About 8 Hours).
  6. Supplied Power Bank includes a User Manual and we recommend that it be studied for Proper use.

Full Body PPE:

  1. Specially made Full Body PPE fitted with a Wide Angle Visor and Air Tubes worn by the user.
  2. Such full body PPE Sneed to be discarded after single use as per prevalent medical protocols.

Operation:

  1. Fully assembled Air Supply Module and Charged Power Bank are held in a Waist Belt, w Is worn over the Full Body PPE .
  2. PPE Air Tube is connected to the Air Outlet of the Air Supply Module using provided taper Bushes on each end; making sure of a secure connection.
  3. To turn on the air supply, USB connector from the Air Supply Module is simply plugged into the Power Bank, which starts the blower to supply the filtered air into the Full Body PPE through the connecting Air Tube.
  4. Air Flow can be increased or decreased by using the Potentiometer Flow Control Knob Provided on the Air Supply Module.
  5. USB cable is simply unplugged from the Power Bank to stop the airflow.
  6. Fully charged Power Bank will normally supply air for up to 8 hours depending on the condition Of the Power Bank.

Sterilization:

  1. UV Chamber may be used to sterilize all components of BHT GloAir.
  2. Alcohol wipes, Alcohol spray and other hospital disinfectants can also be used for this Purpose.
  3. Let the disinfectant dry off completely before turning on the blower to avoid fire accidents.

Warranty:

BHT GloAir is covered under a limited warranty for a period of six months from the date of purchase only for the original purchaser.

BHT GloAir, under this limited warranty, may repair or replace the defective product during the Warranty period at its sole discretion. This warranty is not applicable to:

  1. Normal wear and tear;
  2. Damage caused by misuse, accident, neglect, abuse, alteration, modification, repair Etc.
  3. Use of the equipment disregarding the given cautions and instructions.
