SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Read Instructions – All the safety and operating instructions must be read before the product is operated.
  2. Retain Instructions – The safety and operating instructions should be kept with the product for future reference.
  3. Heed warnings – All warnings on the product and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
  4. Follow instructions – All operating and users’ instructions should be followed.
  5. Water and moisture – To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the product to train, dripping, splashing or excessive moisture such as in a sauna or bathroom. Do not use this product near water, for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool (or similar).
  6. Object and Liquid Entry – Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings, as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-circuit parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product. Do not place any object containing liquid on top of the product.
  7. Servicing – Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
  8. Replacement parts – When replacement parts are required, ensure that the service technician has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock or other hazards.
  9. Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap and water. Stronger agents such as benzene, thinner or similar materials can damage the surface of the unit. Make sure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
  10. Battery
    1. The batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
    2. The batteries should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
    3. Battery usage CAUTION – to prevent battery leakage which may result in body injuries, property damage, or damage to the apparatus:
      1. Install all batteries correctly,+ and – as marked on the apparatus.
      2. Remove batteries when the unit is not used for a long time.

Environmental information

All unnecessary packaging has been omitted. We have tried to make the packaging easy to separate into three materials: cardboard (box),polystyrene foam(buffer) and poly ethylene (bags, protective foam sheet). Your system consists of material which can be recycled and reused if disassembled by a specialized company. Please observe the local regulations regarding the disposal of packaging materials, exhausted batteries and old equipment.Recording and playback of material might require consent. See Copyright Act 1956 and The Performer’s Protection Acts 1958 to 1972.

Operation interface

1-Power on/off.2-Display.3-Volume +/-.4-TUNING +/- and 10+/-5-PREVIOUS/N EXT and PRESET+/-.6-PLAY /PAUSE, and PROG for preset programming.7-MODE.8-Digits button.

Power source

Battery installment: open the battery door, insert the supplied BL-SC rechargeable lithium battery into the compartment according the engraved negative and positive polarity symbol; then close the battery door.

Caution: the battery compartment is designed to compatible install AAA dry battery power as well. So you can install 3pcs x AAA batteries as the power for operation. The battery icon will show on display during dry battery power operation, please kindly note the icon cannot indicate the battery power capacity status, this is a battery power operation indication only.

Charging: After installed the rechargeable battery successfully, please using the supplied USB charging cable connect with the micro USB power jack of unit, and the other terminal connect with USB power source like PC USB port or other USB charger which is with DC SV rating output. The battery icon will flare on the display during charging, and the battery icon will become stable in case of be fully charged.

Notes:

a. When the battery power becomes weak, the battery symbol will flare on display. The radio will stop and off automatically in case of power exhausted. Please arrange recharging or replace it with fresh battery for further operation.b. In order to save and avoid battery power consumed too fast, we suggest listen the radio at middle level volume.c. We do not recommend connecting the DC power without rechargeable battery available inside for operation, because that may cause some unexpected sound noises.d. For first time charging, please charge 10 hours in order to get best battery performance and extent battery life time.e. Please do not charge the battery over 24 hours longer. The working temperature range is 5∼35 degree.f. Due to prolong charging and discharging, the battery life will be affected and playback time will be shortened. We cannot guarantee the same playback time consistently throughout and this is not include in our warranty and service.g. You can listen and charge the radio at same time.h. Please do not mix up install different brand battery, or old and new battery together; Please take out the battery in case of no operation in a long time; please disposal the exhausted battery in environmental friendly way.

Radio operation

Before start the radio operation, please full extent the antenna and try to move the unit next window in order to get better reception. Press the POWER button to power on the unit; press the MODE button enter to the radio mode or switch to other play mode.

Manual tune and auto-scan: Short press the TUN I NG+/- button to increase or decrease the frequency step by step(0.1 MHz); press and hold the TUNING+/- button 3 seconds will auto scan the available station in upward or downward frequency, The radio will stop and play the station automatically once station be found.

Preset and memory station (all-in-one, up to 50 stations max.): press and hold the PROG button 3 seconds to scan and save the available station automatically; short press the PRESET +/- or digits button can pick up the preset station for listening.

Manual preset station: Manual tune or auto-scan the favorite FM station, short press PROG button to enter programming operation, press the PRESET+/- button to select the preset station number which you desire to save station; press the PROG button again to confirm the selection.

USB and microSD card playbackBefore start the operation, please copy the MP3 format music file into the USB or microSD storage device. Then insert the device into the port.

Please power on the unit and short press the MODE button to switch the play source between FM/USB/microSD. The unit will read out and play the MP3 music file after few seconds automatically; press the VOL+/- button to adjust the output volume to enjoy the sound.

In USB or microSD playback mode, press the PREVIOUS and NEXT button to select the track; press and hold the PREVIOUS and NEXT button to fast-forward and fast-rewind the playback within one track; press the digits button to select the relative track; press the 1 0+/- button to fast select the track number over 1 0; press the PLAY /PAUSE button to pause the music playing.

Notes:a. The USB and microSD is only available when the USB or microSD device is installed.b. We do not recommend to playback the music by USB extension cable connection, which may impact the signal transfer, and cause intermittent sound output.c. The supported USB and microSD device is up to 16GB storage max.d. Please double check the direction on the port when you insert the device in order match the connection. Headphone: You can connect headphone with the headphone jack on the radio, then the sound will output from the headphone and mute the loudspeaker.

Trouble shooting

  1. Cannot power on the unit.
    • a. Please check if the unit connect with DC power well, or check the battery power status and arrange charging in case of no power.
    • b. Please contact the service in case of problem remains.
  2. FM reception is too poor.
    • a. Try to move the unit next to window, or other location for listening.
    • b. Try to adjust the antenna, or turn to other station for listening.
  3. No sound output in USB/microSD mode.
    • a. Please double check if the device was connected with unit well.
    • b. Please double check if the music is MP3 format
