User ManualStone 1000 is IPX-5 water and dust resistant. To ensure your Stone 1000 is prepared for use in a wet environment, remove all cable connections and tightly close the lid. If the water lid is not properly closed, the speaker will not be water resistant.

CHARGINGBefore using your Stone 1000, please charge it using the micro USB charging cable included in the package. Please note: Most USB chargers are compatible with Stone 1000. For optimal AC charging please use a 1.0A USB charger. Plug the small micro USB pin into the charger port on the side of the speaker and the other end of the cable (the standard USB 2.0 plug) into any standard USB port (such as a computer or USB charger). The LED light will automatically glow indicating charging mode. When it is fully charged, the LED indicator light will turn o. A full charge takes about 4 hours. The speaker can be charged while playing music. The battery of the speaker will be charged until the charging process completes.

PAIRINGTurn your speaker on. The Bluetooth LED indicator on the control panel will flash blue. Enable your Bluetooth device such as cell phones, tablets or other Bluetooth media and make sure it is in searching mode. Select “boAt Stone 1000 speaker” in the list shown in the Bluetooth device.Note: – if your Bluetooth device version is below V2.0. please enter password “0000” for a connection. The speaker will automatically reconnect to last connected Bluetooth enabled audio device.

HANDS-FREE SPEAKERPHONEYou can use Stone 1000 as a portable speakerphone for incoming calls when connected wirelessly and outgoing calls via Bluetooth. Take your calls by pressing the “>ll”. Press once again for ending the call, double press “>ll” button to reject an incoming call. Music will resume automatically. To make a call, simply dial your cell phone and talk through the speaker. Once your call is connected chose Stone 1000 in the headset options.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION

VOLUME ADJUSTMENTAt any time during a phone call or while playing music the volume can be changed with the “+” or “-” button. To raise the volume press and hold the “+” for 1 second. To lower the volume press and hold “-” button for 1 second there will be a tone from the speaker to indicate that the level has reached maximum or minimum volume.

CHANGING TRACKSSimply press the “>” or “<” button for 1 second on the stone 1000 to change tracks.

PLAY AND PAUSEPress the “>ll” on the speaker’s control board to play/pause the music.

MODE SWITCH BUTTONPress the “M” button to disconnect or connect Bluetooth connection. Press the “M” button to switch modes. (BT, Aux In)

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • Unable to pair with a Bluetooth device: check that you do not have an audio cable connected to the Aux in socket. Ensure that you are within range of the wireless Speaker for wireless functionality, 10 meters or less (33 feet or less).
  • Check that the device you are attempting to pair with supports A2DP stereo audio transmission.

  • Do not attempt to disassemble the Stone 1000 charger or force open the built-in battery because this may result in electric shock.
  • Do not clean the Stone 1000 when it is being charged. Always unplug the charger first before cleaning the Stone 1000.

Automobile Accident Hazard

  • Do not leave or store the Stone 1000 or any of its accessories near or over your automobile’s air bag because serious injury may result when an air bag deploys.

  • Turn off your Stone 1000 prior to boarding an aircraft. Do not use Stone 1000 inside an aircraft unless allowed by your airline.
  • Dispose of the Stone 1000 and the Stone 1000’s battery in accordance with local regulations. Do not dispose of the battery with regular household waste.
