After each use, whenever the appliance is unsupervised, prior to assembly, disassembly or cleaning and in the event of an error, it must always be disconnected from the mains.This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.Children must not play with the appliance.Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children.The appliance must not be used by children. Avoiding material damage

Do not process food that is hotter than 50 °C in the To-Go blender jug.

Note

  • Restrictions on processing:
  • Do not make mayonnaise or pancake batter or crush only ice.
  • Do not use it to chop ingredients like almonds, onions, parsley and meat.
  • Use enough liquid when mixing solid food.

Recipe

Carrot soup

Ingredients

  • 60 g potatoes
  • 240 g carrots
  • 20 g onions
  • 280 g cool vegetable stock
  • 150 g cream
  • 1 tsp tomato purée
  • 1 pinch dried thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Processing

  • Peel the vegetables and cut into cubes 2 x 2 cm in size.
  • Add the vegetables and the cool vegetable stock.
  • Press Start and process for 8 seconds.
  • Add the soup to a pan and bring to the boil.
  • Add the cream, tomato purée and the dried thyme.
  • Cook on a medium heat for 15 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

Fault Cause and troubleshooting
The To-Go blade insert cannot be connected to  he base unit. Outlet protection is active.Screw the To-Go blade insert and the To-Go blender jug in by turning them in a clockwise direction.The To-Go blender jug and To-Go blade insert are fully and tightly screwed in.
To-Go blender jug is leaking. Seal is missing from the lid.Insert the seal.

Disposing of old appliance

Valuable raw materials can be reused by recycling.

  1. Unplug the appliance from the mains.
  2. Cut through the power cord.
  3.  Dispose of the appliance in an environmentally friendly manner. Information about current disposal methods are available from your specialist dealer or local authority.
