Attach the microphone to Smartphone or tablet with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
- Connect a 3.5mm connector into your smartphone, tablet.
- Turn the switch into Smartphone mode.
- Open the audio or video recording app and start recording.
- Connect the headphone into the headphone output, so you can monitor the audio if necessary. The headphone jack supports the playback monitoring function.
Attach the microphone to cameras, camcorders, audio recorders, and other audio or video recording devices.
- Turn counter-clockwise to loosen the screw.
- Slide the microphone onto the camera’s hot shoe.
- Turn clockwise to tighten the screw to stabilize the shoe mount.
- Plug the 3.5 mm connector into the audio output jack of your camera.
- Turn the switch into Camera mode.

| The microphone can’t work | Make sure that the switch is in the right position.1) For smartphone, tablet turning switch the smartphone mode.2) For others devices, turning the switch to camera mode. |
| Too much ambiance noise is being picked up | Make sure that the microphone is as close as possible to the subject.A certain amount of ambient noise is unavoidable in loud environments. |
| The headphone jack doesn’t have any sound | In-Camera mode, it doesn’t support audio monitoring function. |
