WARRANTY TERMS
WARRANTY Thank you for your trust in our products, expressed with the purchase of a Burgmeister watch.Your Burgmeister watch is guaranteed for a 24 month period against any manufacturer’s defect. Any part found by our technical service to be defective as a result of a manufacturing fault will be replaced free of charge by Burgmeister.The guarantee does not cover:
- damages resulting from mishandling or abusive use (knocks, shocks, accidents, etc.) as well as carelessness
- unauthorized alteration, manipulation or repair
- the consequences of the normal wear and ageing of the watch
- watch straps, watch glasses and batteries
In order to benefit from this guarantee, you will be required to present the original invoice.
3 ATM — Resistant to accidental contacts with water, such as splash, sweat, raindrops.
5 ATM — Resistant to accidental contact with water in daily use, such as during showering and washing hands.
10 ATM — Resistant to all water sports and swimming, except diving.
20 ATM — Resistant for non-oxygen use diving sports.
Please consider: The statement of water resistance is only applicable to new conditions. It is not a permanent characteristic of the watch, as the installed sealing elements wear off in their function and under daily use. For this reason, please avoid contact with water in general (especially for leather bands). In particular, the use of functions (e. g. stopwatch, time setting etc.) underwater — with the exception of designated dive watches — is prohibited. By strong swimming movements or jumping into water, high pressure may occur to the watch for a short time. You should have your watch checked annually and especially prior to special strains.
