  • Warning! Do not use spirit , petrol or comparable fluids for lighting or re-lighting! Use only firelighters complying to EN 1860-3!
  • The barbecue has to be installed on a secure and level surface.
  • Before the first cooking the barbecue shall be heated up for at least 30 minutes until the fuel is red hot.
  • Do not cook before the fuel has a coating of ash.
  • Attention! This barbecue will become very hot, do not move it during operation.
  • Do not use indoors.
  • Warning! Keep children and pets away.
  • Do not use water to cool off the hot barbecue, this can result in burns.
  • Never leave the barbecue unattended.
  • Inaccurate use could cause injuries or damage to material.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Clean the grill plate with standard washing-up liquid to remove the protective wax.
  • Rinse with hot water and dry with a soft cloth.
  • Use cooking oil on the grill plate to prevent rust and sticking.
  • Note that the surface of the barbecue will change its color as a result of being heated.

USE

  • Place 4 AA batteries inside the battery fan box. (Pic. 1)
  • Set up the vent pipe with the charcoal rack. (Pic. 2)
  • Pour fire starter gel on the charcoal rack in a circle. (Pic. 3)
  • Light the fire starter gel. (Pic. 4)
  • Put the water tray into the base. (Pic. 5)
  • Fill the charcoal rack with enough charcoal. (Pic. 6)
  • Insert the battery fan box into the plastic slot on the base and turn on the knob to maximum position. (Pic. 7)
  • Place the grill plate on top of the base. (Pic. 8)
  • Control the temperature by turning the fan knob into the desired position. (Pic. 9)
  • Use the handle (included) to lift the grill plate when this is hot.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Never use abrasive cleaners, metal brushes or paint thinner to clean the base, otherwise the barbecue will be damaged.
  • The grill plate can be cleaned with a metal brush and abrasive cleaners, please make sure the rack will be rinsed and dried after cleaning. After cleaning apply a thin layer of cooking oil to the rack.
  • Do not burn off the food residue immediately after use, but rather leave on to form a protected layer. It is better to burn it off the next time you use the barbecue again.
  • Remove the batteries during a longer period of storage.
