Set Up / Montage

Open shipping carton.  Assembly > Unboxing

Add oil. Assembly > Add Engine Oil.Recommended: 10W-30, up to 16.9 fl. oz. (500 ml) DO NOT overfill.

Move the generator outdoors.

Move generator to an open, outdoor area.Point exhaust away. Never run generator in enclosed areas (e.g., not in house or garage).

Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from generator. Heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.

Add fuel. Assembly > Add Fuel: GasolineDO NOT use E15 or E85.

or

Connect propane cylinder.Assembly > Add Fuel: Propane (LPG)

Start Up

DO NOT plug in any electrical devices.

WARNING NEVER START OR STOP THE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRICAL DEVICES CONNECTED OR TURNED ON!

For Gasoline OperationTurn the fuel cap vent lever to the “ON” (|) position.

For Propane OperationOpen the propane tank valve.

Turn the EZ Start dial to the “CHOKE” position.

For Gasoline OperationPull the recoil to start the engine.

For Propane OperationPull the recoil 3-5 times to prime the engine.

For Gasoline OperationTurn the EZ Start dial to the gasoline “RUN” position.

For Propane OperationTurn the EZ Start dial to the propane “RUN” position.

For Propane OperationPull the recoil to start the engine.

Plug in. Operation > Connecting Electrical Loads.
