Use
Place the torch so that the sun can reach the solar panels. L, Choose if you want to attach it to the spear and put it in the AA, ground, place it on a table or hang it from a tree branch in your garden.Charge it in the sun for 8 hours before use. The solar panel converts the sunlight to electricity and charges the battery. Push the power button once to turn the torch on. The torch then lights up automatically at sunset.Clean the solar panel with a wet cloth regularly.
NoteHow long time the torch is lit up depends on how much sunlight it gets. Lack of sunlight reduces the time.When the brightness starts to decrease, the battery needs charging.
Troubleshooting
If the torch does not turn on automatically at night after more than 8 hours of charging in the sunlight, check the following:
- Make sure the torch is on. To control this during the daytime, cover the solar panel with your hand to simulate nighttime. If the light turns on, the torch is on.
- Make sure the solar panel is placed in the sun and not in the shade.
- Make sure the solar panel is clean. Dust and dirt can affect the efficiency of the charging.
