Coopers Solar Animal Repeller w / Motion Sensor

Insert the batteries

  • Remove the door of the battery box
  • Slowly pull out the battery box. Do not pull out quickly or forcefully as this may tear off the 2 connecting wires behind the box.

Insert 4x AA (rechargeable or normal) batteries into the battery box by following the polarity signs (+/-).

Replace the battery box and then the door of battery box.

Wall mounting
  1. The width between the 2 screw holes is 5cm (2inches). For best sensor detection effect, the hanging height is 12-36cm (4.8-14.2 inches).
  2. Choose the height and then mark 2 points 5cm apart on the wall, making sure they are level.
  3. Drill 2 holes and fasten the 2 wall plugs and then the 2 screws (included) into the wall securely.
  4. Hold the product and then align the 2 screw holes on the back of product to the 2 screws.
  5. Push the product on the wall and release .Supported by the 2 screws, the product can hang on the wall.
  6. Push the switch (from OFF) to the position that matches the battery type (rechargeable or normal) to activate the product. The product is in operation when 2 LED lights at the front are blinking.
Staking in the ground

  1. Assemble 1 pipe piece of the short tube on the bottom of the main body, then the second pipe, and finally the spike (the ground stake).
  2. If the batteries are rechargeable, position the unit in soft ground where the solar panels are exposed to direct sunlight. If the batteries are normal, position in soft ground with or without direct sunlight.Stick the ground stake together with the assembled main body into the ground.

HOW THE PRODUCT WORKSThe Solar Animal Repeller operates within 7m and 70 degrees’ angle to the Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensor.When the sensor detects a moving object, the ultrasonic speaker emits sound waves of around 13.5khz – 61khz in frequency, continuing for 30 seconds, to repel unwanted animals such as mice, rats, rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, stray cats, stray dogs, etc.

CLEANING

  • Use a damp soft cloth with mild soapy water to wipe-clean the product.
  • Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaning agents. The finish or the function of the product will be damaged.

CAUTION 

  • Turn off the product if pets are playing around the detection area of the motion sensor.
  • Do not immerse the product in water or any liquid.

BATTERIES 

  • Keep batteries away from children and pets.
  • Do not mix used and new batteries.
  • Remove the batteries if left for long periods.
  • Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
  • Spent or expired batteries must be properly disposed of and recycled in compliance with local regulations. For detailed information, contact your local authority.
  • Follow the battery manufacturer’s safety, usage, and disposal instructions.

DISPOSAL
