GENERAL INFORMATION:

HOW IT WORKSICE AWAY has been pre-tested and set to the correct temperature for use. The mat has been designed so warmth travelsupward.TEMPERATUREICE AWAY contains an electric heating element that produces uniform radiant heat. The heat will remain constant. The heating element is molded within the rubber to eliminate the danger of fire or electrical shock. (As with any new heated rubber product, the rubber odor may be noticeable when plugged in for the first time. This is temporary, and will dissipate quickly.)PLACEMENTFor use outdoors to melt ice and snow. Intended for outdoor use. For best results, clear the area below the mat before use. Keep in mind that, since the warmth travels upward, it may not melt heavy snow or ice beneath the mat. This product is best used to prevent accumulation rather than to remove pre-existing ice and snow.IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE USEThis appliance has a grounded three-prong plug. To reduce the risk of electric shock, the power cord has a GFCI attached. Do not modify the plug in any way.WARRANTY: This product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six months from the shipping date. Atthe option of Cozy Products, we will either replace or repair the defective unit.
