 Troubleshooting

Issue Possible cause Possible solution
The air fryer does not work The device is not plugged in. Plug the power cable into the earthed power supply.
The bowl is not installed correctly. Slide the bowl into the device properly.
The ingredients fried with the air fryer are not done. The amount of ingredients in the basket is too big. Put smaller batches of ingredients in the basket. Smaller batches are also fried more evenly.
The set temperature is too low. Adjust/increase the temperature (see “USAGE” chapter).
The preparation time is too short. Adjust/increase the operating time (see “USAGE” chapter).
The ingredients are fried unevenly in the air fryer. Ingredients were not shaken during preparation. Ingredients that lie on top of or across each other (e.g. fries) need to be shaken halfway through the preparation time (see “USAGE” chapter).
Fried snacks are not crispy when they come out of the air fryer. Preparing food that needs to be prepared in a traditional deep fryer. Use appropriate snacks or lightly brush some oil onto such food for a crispier result.
I cannot slide the bowl into the device properly. There are too many ingredients in the basket. Do not overfill the basket, refer to the chapter “USAGE”.
The basket is not placed in the bowl correctly. Push the basket down into the bowl until you hear a click.
White smoke comes out of the device. Ingredients too greasy. When greasy ingredients are fried, a large amount of oil will leak into the bowl. The oil produces white smoke and the bowl may heat up more than usual. This does not affect the device or the end result.
The bowl still contains grease residues from previous use. White smoke is caused by grease heating up in the bowl. Make sure you clean the bowl and basket properly after each use.
Fresh potato fries are fried unevenly Wrong potato type used. Use fresh fries from potato for frying purposes.
Potato sticks not rinsed before frying. Rinse the potato sticks properly to remove starch from the surface of the sticks.
Fresh fries are not crispy Wrong amount of oil and water in the fries. Make sure you dry the potato sticks properly before you add the oil.
Cut the potato sticks smaller for a crispier result.
Add slightly more oil for a crispier result
