This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it. The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.

The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:

  • If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
  • In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.
  • In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
  • In case of insufficient or incorrect maintenance.
  • In case of repairs or alterations to the device by the consumer or non-authorized third parties.
  • If the customer used parts or accessories that are not recommended or provided by the supplier / manufacturer.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:

  • Read all instructions carefully. Keep this manual for future reference.
  • Make sure all packaging materials and promotional stickers have been removed before using the appliance for the first time. Make sure children cannot play with the packaging materials.
  • This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
    • staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
    • farm houses;
    • by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
    • bed and breakfast type environments.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 16 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 16 and supervised.
  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children younger than 16 years.
  • Attention: This appliance cannot be used with an external timer or a separate remote control.
  • Read all instructions before use.
  • Before use, check if the voltage stated on the appliance corresponds with the voltage of the power net at your home.
  • Do not let the cord hang on a hot surface or on the edge of a table or counter top.
  • Never use the appliance when the cord or plug is damaged, after malfunction or when the appliance itself is damaged. In that case, take the appliance to the nearest qualified service center for check-up and repair.
  • Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used near or by children.
  • The use of accessories that are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer can cause fire, electrical shock or injuries.
  • Unplug the appliance when it is not in use, before assembling or disassembling any parts and before cleaning the appliance. Put all buttons and knobs into the `off’ position and unplug the appliance by grasping the plug. Never unplug by pulling the cord.
  • Do not leave a working appliance unattended.
  • Never place this appliance near a gas stove or electrical stove or in a place where it may come into contact with a warm appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  • Only use the appliance for its intended use.
  • Always use the appliance on a steady, dry and level surface.
  • Only use the appliance for domestic use. The manufacturer can not be held responsible for accidents that result from improper use of the appliance or not following the instructions described in this manual.
  • All repairs should be carried out by the manufacturer or its aftersales service.
  • Never immerse the appliance, the cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.
  • Make sure that children do not touch the cord or appliance.
  • Keep the cord away from sharp edges and hot parts or other heat sources.
  • Before use, remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner to vacuum up detergents, liquids, needles, matches and other similar liquids, sharp objects or flammable objects.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner to vacuum up cement, powder and other small particles. Also avoid vacuuming up large objects. The vacuum cleaner could be clogged, the motor could overheat or other damage may occur.
  • Make sure that the air intake or the floor suction opening do not become blocked.
  • Make sure that the machine does not come into contact with liquids.
  • First charge a new battery up completely.
  • Pull the plug from the outlet when the vacuum cleaner is fully charged.
  • This product contains a rechargeable battery. Batteries should be recycled. Do not drill into the battery or expose it to high temperatures; the battery could explode.
  • Under extreme circumstances, there could be leakage of the battery. If the liquid from the battery comes into contact with the skin, wash it off immediately with water and soap or neutralize it with a mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquid comes into contact with the eyes, rinse them liberally with water for at least 10 minutes and contact a doctor.
  • Do not place foreign objects in the openings of your machine. Do not use the machine if an opening is blocked. Keep the machine free from dust, dirt, hair or anything that could reduce the air supply.
  • Remove large and sharp objects from the floor to prevent damage to the plastic components, the brushes and the motor.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

To set up the machine properly, please follow the steps below:

  1. Slide the wires together.
  2. Place the handle on the battery. You will hear a click when it is in place. Ensure there are no wires caught between the components.

CHARGING AND STORAGEThe indicator light will illuminate red during use to show the appliance needs to be charged. The appliance will then switch off automatically. Place the appliance in the supplied storage base. To charge the appliance, place the charger in the provided connection on the back of the appliance.

  • The indicator light will light up red to show the appliance is charging. When the appliance is fully charged, the light will turn green.
  • The machine cannot be started during charging.
  • It is recommended the appliance be fully charged before using it for the first time, and then recharged for a second time after the battery is completely empty.

USE

FILL THE WATER RESERVOIR BEFORE USE

  1. Remove the water reservoir and turn it upside down.
  2. Open the screw cap and fill the reservoir with water through the opening. Do not exceed the maximum level of the water reservoir. Note: a detergent can be added to the water if desired. A cleaning product with a PH neutral value between 7 and 8 is recommended.
  3. Place the screw cap back on the reservoir after filling.
  4. Place the reservoir back on the appliance upside down.

USE

  1. Press the on/off button to turn the appliance on. When you turn the appliance on, the rollers in the cleaning head will start rotating. The indicator light will illuminate to show the appliance is in operation.
  2. Press the water spray button to pump water into the cleaning head. The indicator light flashes green to show the water spray button is on. The 1st roller will get wet so you can then clean the floor. The 2nd roller remains dry so you can dry the floor at the same time.
  3. Press the water spray button again to stop water spraying.
  4. Press the on/off button again to turn off the appliance.
  • The appliance is equipped with a safety device that will ensure the appliance switches itself off, for example, if large objects or fingers get into the cleaning head. This is for personal safety and to protect the motor. To rewind the rollers, press the power button again.
  • Do not use the appliance on carpet.
  • After use, place the appliance in its storage base.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

CLEANING THE MACHINEClean the machine with a slightly moist soft cloth. Dry the machine off well. Never submerge the machine in water! The storage base can be cleaned using warm water and a mild detergent. Dry thoroughly afterwards.

CLEANING THE CLEANING HEAD (ROLLERS)

  1. Remove the cover on the right side of the cleaning head. Note the arrows for this.
  2. Gently pull out the rollers from the cleaning head. Clean the cleaning head with a damp cloth and then dry.
  3. Clean the accessories in warm water with a mild detergent. Let them dry well.
  4. Slide the rollers back into the cleaning head. Then put the cover back in place. You will hear a click when it is correctly positioned.

Note: Make sure the parts are correctly assembled. If they are not properly assembled in the appliance, the appliance will make a strange noise. If this happens, switch off the appliance immediately and reassemble the parts.

Self-cleaning function for easy cleaning

The appliance is equipped with a self-cleaning function for easy cleaning. For a thorough cleaning, we recommend following the previous steps. To quickly clean the appliance, follow the steps below.

  1. Remove the water reservoir and turn it upside down. Open the screw cap and fill the water reservoir with water and detergent up to the maximum cleaning level, which is 260 ml. Put the screw cap back on the reservoir and place it back in the appliance.
  2. Pour some water into the storage base and place the appliance in its base.
  3. Connect the charger to the appliance.
  4. Hold down the water spray button for a few seconds. The green indicator light flashes. The rollers will start to turn.
  5. The appliance will now start its self-cleaning programme. This cycle lasts 2 minutes. To end the cleaning earlier, press the water spray button or the on/off button at any time.
  6. If the rollers are still slightly dirty after 2 minutes, or there is still some foam on the rollers, turn this function on again. If the rollers are not completely clean afterwards, clean them thoroughly.

Note: The self-cleaning function is mainly to clean the 1st roller. If you also want to clean the 2nd roller, swap them over. If they are not clean after 2 cycles, remove them from the cleaning head for a thorough cleaning.

CLEANING THE DIRTY WATER RESERVOIR

  1. Remove the cleaning head cover using the release buttons. Clean this with a damp cloth and then dry.

  2. Take out the dirty water reservoir by pulling it up with the handle.

  3. Empty the reservoir by opening the lids of the 2 compartments. Pour the contents into the sink. Clean the accessories in warm water with a mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.

  4. Clean the holder for this reservoir with the cleaning brush or a damp cloth. Dry afterwards.
  5. Put the dirty water reservoir back into the appliance and put the cover back on the cleaning head.

Note

  • Never use the appliance if all parts are not correctly in place.
  • Clean the dirty water reservoir after use each time.
  • Make sure the dirty water reservoir is always emptied before each use.

STORING THE APPLIANCE

  • Clean the appliance after every use before storing it.
  • After use, place the appliance in its storage base to prevent the damp rollers from damaging the floor.
  • It is recommended the appliance be stored in a well-ventilated area.
