QUICK START GUIDE

Weighing and Measuring A Child (Up to 2 Years)

Step 1Clean and put together the baby tray on the platform of the weighing scale.	Step 3When the scale shows 0, place your baby on the blanket gently.
Step 2Place a soft towel/ blanket on the tray and press the ON/OFF/TARE key to turn on the scale.	Step 4Check the screen of the scale for weight measurement.
Step 5To measure the baby’s height, use the scale given on the baby tray.

Adult Weighing

Step 1Detach the baby tray from the platform to use it as a normal scale.

Step 2Step on the scale and stay still until the screen locks your weight.

Note: This is a baby cum adult weighing scale with a max 150 kg weight capacity. It is suitable for weighing babies, children, grownups, and pets.

OVERVIEW

Dr. Trust Grow Buddy Scale — 510 can be used to monitor the body weight of all family members on a daily basis. It has high-precision sensors so that users can get very accurate results every time when they use it. The maximum weight capacity of it is 150 kg and shuts off automatically when you do not use it. The weighing scale comes with a removable tray so that it can be used to monitor a baby’s weight in an easy way. It has all the needed features with amazing looks and durable built.

ON/OFF/ TARE BUTTONPress the ON/OFF button to start the scale switch it ON/OFF. It also switches ON automatically when you step on it or keep your baby on the weighing tray. The scale switches OFF automatically after you have weighed or step off the scale.

LCD DISPLAYThe power-saving blue color backlight turns ON when you switch it ON and it switches OFF after 2 minutes.

THE UNIT BUTTONPress the UNIT button to switch between kilograms (kg), pounds (lb), an ounce (oz) easily.

THE HOLD BUTTONYou can select the MECHANICAL HOLD function by pressing the “HOLD” button. Within 3 seconds, the word “HOLD” stops flashing and the weight is displayed for a further 20 seconds.

WEIGHING TRAYThe weighing tray is easy to remove from the machine.

BATTERY COMPARTMENTFit in 3 AAA batteries to power up the scale. The battery needs to be replaced immediately after ‘LO’ appears in the display.

GETTING STARTED THE SCALE

Installing Batteries

Open the battery cover on the backside of the scale.
Put three “AAA” batteries in the right polarity.
Place the battery compartment cover back and the scale powers ON automatically.

Start Weighing

Press the “ON/OFF” button to switch on the scale.
As soon as “0.000 kg” appears on the display, the scale is ready to take a measurement.
Now place the baby on the plastic tray.
The weight will be shown firstly, the weight and D-value will be shown alternately twice, and then the scale will be switched off automatically.

Using Mechanical Hold Button

This baby scale had a mechanical HOLD function. You can select the MECHANICAL HOLD function by pressing the “HOLD” button.
Within 3 seconds, the word “HOLD” stops flashing and the weight is displayed for a further 20 seconds.
If you do not want to place the baby directly on the weighing surface but prefer to use a towel.
If the towel (and any other items which you want to deduct again during weighing) weighs over 50 g, you can also use the TARE function. Once you have pressed the TARE button, TARE’ is shown in the display.

Resetting the Scale

To reset the scale to 0.000 g, press the TARE button after “HOLD” has stopped flashing.
On delivery, the scale is set at”kg” units.

Unit Conversion

You can choose to display your weight in kilograms (kg), pounds (lb), an ounce (oz) easily. The Unit button allows you to switch units as per choice.

CAUTION

The scale is mainly intended for kids’ use. Although adults can also use it.
Do not use any chemical cleaning agent.
Always use the scale on a flat surface; do not use it in an upright position.
Keep the unit out of reach of infants or children.
Avoid using this device in wet conditions.
Do not use it on slippery wet floors.
Never put heavy objects on the scale.
The scale can accept a maximum load of 150 kgs
