3. Hardw are InstallationThis sect ion will guide you t o inst all t he rout er t hrough hardware connect ion and conf igure t he rout er’ s set t ings t hrough web browser. Bef ore st art ing t o conf igure t he rout er, you have t o connect your devices correct ly. (For t he hardware connect ion, we t ake ” ac” model as an example. )3.1 Netw ork Connection1. Connect t he DSL int erf ace t o t he land line j ack wit h a DSL line cable, or Connect t he cable Modem/ DSL Modem/ Media Convert er t o t he WAN port of rout er wit h Et hernet cable (RJ-45).2. Connect one end of an Et hernet cable (RJ-45) t o one of t he LAN port s of t he rout er and t he ot her end of t he cable (RJ-45) int o t he Et hernet port on your comput er.3. Connect one end of t he power adapt er t o t he rout er’ s power port on t he rear panel, and t he ot her side int o a wall out let .4. Power on t he device by pressing down t he power swit ch on t he rear panel. 5. The syst em st art s t o init iat e. Softw are ConfigurationTo access Int ernet , pl ease f inish basic conf igurat ion af t er complet ing t he hardware inst allat ion.4.1 Quick Start Wizard for Netw ork ConnectionThe Quick Start Wizard is designed f or you t o easily set up your rout er f or Int ernet access. You can direct ly access t he Quick Start Wizard via Web User Int erf ace. Make sure your PC connect s t o t he rout er correct ly.

On t he next page as shown bel ow, please select t he WAN int erf ace t hat you use. If DSL int erf ace is used, please choose WAN1; if Et hernet int erf ace is used, please choose WAN2; if wireless 2. 4G/ 5G connect ion is used, please choose WAN3 or WAN4; if 3G USB modem is used, please choose WAN5 or WAN6. click Next f or next st ep. Each WAN int erf ace will bring up specif ic conf igurat ion page. Here, we t ake WAN1 as an example.Click Next t o go t o t he f ollowing page. You have t o sel ect t he appropriat e Int ernet access t ype according to the information from your ISP. For example, you should select PPPoA mode if t he ISP provides you PPPoA int erf ace.
