Important Safety Information
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS – This manual contains safety and operating instructions for the Inverter. Misusing or incorrectly connecting the Inverter may damage the equipment or create hazardous conditions for users. Read the following safety instructions and pay special attention to all Caution and Warning statements in the guide. Failure to follow these safety guidelines may cause personal injury and/or damage to the inverter. It may also void your product warranty.

WARNINGThis guide contains important safety and operating instructions in how to use the Inverter to power loads using the AC outlet and USB port. Read this guide fully for the safe operation of this Inverter.
- Do not expose the Inverter to moisture, rain, or snow.
- Do not operate the inverter if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way; contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
- Do not disassemble the inverter. Incorrect reassembly may result in shock or fire hazards.
- To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug the inverter from the DC accessory outlet before attempting any maintenance or cleaning.
WARNING: BURN, FIRE HAZARDThe inverter housing may become warm and may reach temperatures approaching or beyond 140° F (60° C) under extended high power operation. During operation, keep it away from materials that may be affected by these temperatures. Do not use the inverter in ambient temperatures above 104° F (40° C). Allow for proper ventilation and do not cover the ventilation openings with anything that may overheat the inverter during operation.

Inverter Operating Instructions
WARNING: RISK OF UNSAFE OPERATIONWhen using tools or equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury. Improper operation, maintenance, or modification of equipment could result in serious injury and property damage. We strongly recommend that this product NOT be modified and/or used for any application other than for which it was designed. Read and understand all warnings and operating instructions before using any equipment.
CAUTION: VEHICLE BATTERY DISCHARGESome vehicles’ DC accessory sockets remain powered even when the ignition switch or engine is turned off. To avoid discharging the vehicle’s battery, always remove the inverter from the DC accessory socket when not in use.
- Plug the removable cable into the inverter’s input socket.
- Plug the accessory plug into your vehicle’s accessory socket.
- Plug an AC-powered device into the three-prong AC receptacle and turn it on. Make sure that the power rating of the device is less than the “peak power” of the inverter.
- Plug a USB-powered device into the USB port. The USB port can be used separately and simultaneously while AC loads are connected and running via the AC receptacle.
Troubleshooting
This section will help you identify the source of most problems that can occur with the inverter. If you have a problem with the inverter, please review this section before contacting your dealer.
Interference with Electronic Equipment
Generally, most AC products operate with the inverter just as they would with household AC power. Following is information concerning two possible exceptions.Buzzing sound in audio systems and radiosSome low-quality stereo systems and AM-FM radios have inadequate internal power supply filtering and “buzz” slightly when powered by the inverter. Generally, the only solution is an audio product with a higher quality filter.
Television interferenceThe inverter is shielded to minimize its interference with TV signals. However, with weak TV signals interference may be visible in the form of lines scrolling across the screen. The following should minimize or eliminate the problem:
- Increase the distance between the inverter and the TV, antenna, and cables.
- Adjust the orientation of the inverter, television, antenna, and cables. Maximize TV signal strength by using a better antenna and use shielded antenna cable where possible.

Warranty and Return Information
Three Year Limited WarrantyThe DURACELL® inverter carries a limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for three years from the original date of purchase. The manufacturer or distributor, at its option, shall repair or replace the defective unit covered by this warranty. Please retain the dated sales receipt as evidence of the date of purchase as it will be required for any warranty service. In order to keep the warranty in effect, the product must have been handled and used as described in the instructions accompanying this warranty. This warranty does not cover any damage due to accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence.
Disclaimer Of WarrantyThe limited warranty described herein is your sole remedy. To the extent permitted by law, the manufacturer and distributor disclaim all other implied or express warranties including all warranties of merchantability and/or fitness for any particular purpose.
Limitation Of LiabilityExcept to the extent of repairing or replacing this product as expressly stated in the limited warranty described herein, the manufacturer and distributor shall not be liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or otherwise, including lost revenues, lost profits, loss of use of software, loss or recovery of data, rental of replacement equipment, downtime, damage to property, and third-party claims, arising out of any theory of recovery, including statutory, contract or tort. Notwithstanding the term of any limited or implied warranty, or in the event that any limited warranty fails of its essential purpose, in no event will the manufacturer’s and distributors’ entire liability exceed the purchase price of this product.
