ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONImproper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock. If the power cord is damaged, frayed or shows cracks or abrasions across its length, have it replaced at an authorized service center. For your protection, this unit is equipped with a 3-conductor cord set that has a molded 3-prong grounding-type plug, and should be used in combination with a properly connected grounding-type outlet.Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third ground prong from the power cord supplied. For personal safety, this appliance must be properly grounded. The cord should be secured behind the unit and not left exposed or dangling to prevent accidental injury. A standard electrical supply (115V AC – 60Hz), properly grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances, is required. When a standard 2-pin wall outlet is encountered, it is your responsibility to have it replaced with a properly grounded 3-pin wall outlet. Never unplug the unit by pulling the power cord. To disconnect the appliance, always grip the plug firmly and pull straight out from the wall outlet. When moving the unit, be careful not to damage the power cord. The unit should always be plugged into its own individual electrical outlet with a voltage rating that matches the rating label on the unit. Do not pinch or kink the power supply cord. Repair or replace all power cords that have become frayed or damaged. Do not use a cord that shows cracks or abrasion damage along its length or at either end. INSTALLATIONBEFORE USING YOUR APPLIANCERemove all packing material before using your appliance. IMPORTANT: Before connecting the unit to a power source, let it stand upright for approximately 24 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation. Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.INSTALLATION OF YOUR APPLIANCEThis unit is designed for freestanding and built-in installation and indoor use only. Position the unit in a dry and well-ventilated place. Avoid placing the cooler near any source of heat or moisture, or in direct sunlight. Do NOT install the unit in a location with an ambient temperature that will fall below 41°F. For built-in installation, it is also important to keep space on each side and at the top of the appliance. If you plan to install the unit into cabinetry, please leave ¼” space on each side and at the top of the cooler as well as 1-2″ at the back of the cooler to ensure proper air circulation to cool the compressor and condenser. Also, be sure to not obstruct the front exhaust vent with any objects as this may affect the unit from performing properly. Place the appliance on a level surface strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded. It is important for the appliance to be leveled in order to work properly. You may need to make several adjustments to level it. To level the cooler, adjust the front leveling legs at the bottom of the cooler. For best performance it is recommended that you install the appliance in a location with an ambient temperature between 41°-100°F. If the ambient temperature is above or below recommended temperatures, the performance of the unit may be affected. It is recommended that you do not install the appliance near an oven, radiator or other heating source. Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Don’t install in a location where the temperature will fall below 41° F. For best performance, do not install the appliance behind a cabinet door or block the base grille. Do not store or install the appliance outdoors, in a garage, basement, or in moist areas. Plug the unit into an exclusive, properly installed-grounded wall outlet.INSTALLATION OF THE METAL HANDLESOn the door interior, slightly pull back the door gasket on the side you wish to install the handle to reveal the two (2) designated holes for handle installation. NOTE: Door gasket must not be removed, detached or altered as it may directly affect cooling performance.Using a screwdriver (not included), install the handle tightly as shown in the diagram above with the included screws, lock washers and flat washers (2 each).INSTALLING THE CHARCOAL FILTERTo install the charcoal filter, please follow the below instructions:· Place the carbon filter on top of the shelf.· The back of the filter has a 3M glue tape which you can affix to the shelf or the inside of the unit.

3Defrosting The unit defrosts automatically. The evaporator behind the rear wall of the unit defrosts automatically. The condensate collects in the drainage channel behind the rear wall of the unit, and flows through the drainage hole into the drip tray by the compressor where it evaporates. When the wine and beverage cooler run for some time, the wine and beverage cooler will enter to defrosting, the compressor stop running and the fan will keep running. The temperature will up to about 5°C when defrosting, then keep on running normally; It takes more time for the temperature to come up to 10°C when the setting temperature is low (for example the setting temperature is 4°C), and there are full of wines and beverages in the cabinet, and this is not a breakdown. The switch of interior light is under the control panel to control the light on or off.STORING WINE AND BEVERAGESWhile bottles may vary in size and dimension, approximately 24 traditional Bordeaux 750ml bottles and 58 12 oz. cans can be stored in your wine & beverage cooler. Please note that bottle capacities are approximate maximums when storing traditional Bordeaux 750 ML bottles and include bulk storage.SHELVESTo prevent damaging the door gasket, make sure the door is fully open when pulling shelves out of the rail compartment. For easy access to the bottles stored, pull the shelves out approximately 90%. Only pull out one shelf at a time. Never attempt to pull more than one.DOOR LOCKYour unit is provided with a lock and key combination. The keys are located inside the plastic bag that contains the Owner’s Manual. Insert the key into the lock and turn it counterclockwise to unlock the door.
