BT Dongle Installation Instructions

For Windows 8 or Later

Plug & Play1. Plug BT dongle into USB port2. Wait 5-10 seconds while the driver is automatically installed3. Restart your device4. Right click the Bluetooth icon on the task and select “Add Bluetooth Device”5. Follow on screen instructions to search, pair and connect your Bluetooth device

For Windows 7 or Earlier

Download and install driver1. Download the driver at http://eveo.tv/BT2. Open the file and follow the on-screen instructions3. Restart your device

Pairing Your Phone

1. Right-click the Bluetooth icon in the task bar2. Select “Add Bluetooth Device”, and then “All”3. Select your phone from the device list (make sure your phone is in pairing mode)4. On your phone, confirm the pairing code that appears on your PC screen

Transferring Data

1. Right-click on the file you want to transfer2. Select “Sent to” and then “Bluetooth Device”3. Select your device and click “Next”4. Click “Accept” when prompted on your device to begin transfer

Connecting a Headset

1. Right-click the Bluetooth icon in the task bar2. Select “Add Bluetooth Device”, and then “All”3. Select your headset from the device list (make sure your headset is in pairing mode)

Troubleshooting

  • Poor audio qualityUncheck “Handsfree telephony” in the Services settings of your device: Control Panel →Hardware and Sound → Devices and Printers → Right-click on your device → Select the Services tab → Uncheck “Handsfree telephony”
  • Can’t find Bluetooth device° Make sure your device is in pairing mode° Restart your computer
  • Computer doesn’t recognize BT Dongle° Make sure your Bluetooth service is running: Open Run by typing Win + R → Enter“services.msc” → Find “Bluetooth Service” → Set startup type to “Automatic” mode
  • Interrupted or intermittent sound on BT headset° Unpair and re-pair your headset° Turn your headset off and on again° Restart your PC
  • Computer is showing a driver error (or yellow exclamation mark)° Disable your built in Bluetooth: Open Run by typing Win + R → Enter “devmgmt.msc” → Find built-in Bluetooth → Disable
