OVERVIEW

EZ-SP12H2 is a Mini 1×2 splitter for HDMI with Ultra HD 4K support. This splitter reliably distributes one HDMI source signal to two HDMI  outputs. Especially when you have one 4K TV and one 1080P TV, both HDMI outputs can down scaler to 1080P if you have 4K source.It supports  HDMI 2.0 specification features including data rates up to 4:4:4 8bit, HDR and HDCP2.2, Deep Color, 3D, Lip Sync, and HD lossless audio/Video formats.It is an ideal choice for applications that require the distribution of an HDMI source signal to multiple outputs.

INSTALLATION

  1. Connect one cable from HDMI source devices to HDMI Splitter input.
  2. Connect one cable from each display (monitor or projector) to theHDMI Splitter outputs.

Note: When you have a 4K HDMI source device, but a 1080P HDMI display device, please connect the 1080P display to HDMI OUT2.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. POWER: Make sure all HDMI sources, display devices are powered on.For the power-up issues, please change the power adapter or power device.
  2. INDICATOR: Check LED indicators of splitter are on
  3. DEVICES: Make sure picture can be shown normally when connectingHDMI source to display devices directly.
  4. CABLE: Plugin and out HDMI 2.0 cable or change another HDMI cable.When transmitting HDMI (4:4:4) signal, HDMI 2.0 certificated cables are required.Suggest use HDMI 2.0 cable is less than 3 meters.If HDMI signal issue, please change the HDMI cable; Check if the TV HDMI input port is consistent with the TV output channel; Check if Fiber HDMIcable is SOURCE/ DISPLAY port plug to correct HDMI source, display device.
  5. EDID: AUTO EDID; Supports HDMI 4K and 1080P output simultaneously.Set EDID to 4K mode when playing Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision in Sync. Connect 4K TV to Splitter OUT 1, Soundbar/ Receiver to Splitter OUT2.NOTE: Please make sure HDMI Source support both of Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos in advance; HDMI display devices support Dolby Vision; Soundbar/ Receive support Dolby Atmos at least, then HDMI Splitter can support both accordingly. To ensure TV play 4K and sounds well, the default EDID mode is on COPY. Please connect 4K TV to Splitter OUT 1. EDID copy OUT 1 prior.If a picture flash or black screen, please press and hold the UPDATE button for 3 seconds until the LED indicator blink 3 times for resetting. DO NOT down-scale HDR Dolby Vision (4K60 4:2:2), VRR, otherwise SCREEN WASHOUT.Does Not support ARC, eARC. Does not support SONOS ARC Beam.
  6. COMPATIBILITY: Please test other source and display devices to determine whether it is a compatibility issue.HDMI splitter does not extend the screen, only COPY/ Mirror. Does not support CEC.
  7. The newest firmware 1.75 version supports VRR, PS5, 4K 60Hz, 1080p 120Hz, but does not support down-scaler. If you need the newest firmware, please contact the seller to get it.

NotesPlease use this machine based on the below instructions to keep a longer lifetime.

  1. The machine should be placed at the spot far away from the Damp, HighTemperature, Dusty, Erosive, and Oxidant environment.
  2. All parts will be free from the strong shake, hit, fall.
  3. Touching the device with wet hands is prohibited.
  4. Please turn the power off when the machine is not used for a long time.
  5. Please do not open the cover and do not touch the inside parts.
  6. Please use the original factory power adaptor.
  7. Before power on, please check the connection cable carefully. And make sure that all interfaces are normally connected.
