Instructions and Intended Use Information
Flexible Hose Extreme will flex, stretch and never kink. Flexible Hose Extreme retracts back to its reduced size when drained and absent of flowing water for easy storage.
Please follow these important instructions for proper use.
- FlexAble Hose Extreme must be attached to the spray nozzle or the on/off ball valve in order to expand and function properly.
- Before use make sure that all rubber washers are inserted into the coupling side of the hose and sprayer.CAUTION: do not over tighten couplings, it is recommended to hand tighten to a snug fit. Over tightening may damage the washer and coupling.
- Fasten the spray nozzle or the on/off ball valve to the hose and attach to outside spigot. Gradually turn the water on and allow the hose to expand to full length. The FlexAble Hose Extreme is now ready for watering tasks.
- When finished, turn the water off at the spigot first, squeeze spray nozzle and allow the water to drain. The hose will retract back to its reduced size.
- If the hose is attached to an oscillating sprinkler, the hose may gently drag the sprinkler as it retracts when the water is turned off. Before water shut off, move oscillating sprinklers closer to faucet so the hose can retract freely. CAUTION: FlexAble Hose Extreme is not recommend to be used with spiked sprinklers.
- Ground sprinkler application: Remove the spray nozzle and attach the hose to any outdoor sprinkler. Face the sprinkler away from you and others before turning on water. Slowly turn the water on. As the hose expands, place your sprinkler in its desired location.
- Turn the on/off ball valve to the off position. Then turn the water on at the spigot and let the hose fully expand. Fasten the valve to the sprinkler. With the valve still in off, place the sprinkler in the desired location. Make sure to face the sprinkler away from you and others and then turn the valve on.WARNING: THE FLEXABLE HOSE EXTREME IS NOT A TOY. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO PLAY WITH OR NEAR THIS PRODUCT..STOP! - The FlexAble Hose Extreme must be used with a sprayer or the on/off ball valve attached. The hose will notexpand without one of these in place.
- The FlexAble Hose Extreme is intended for outdoor use only; do not use the hose inside.
- The FlexAble Hose Extreme should never be used for potable water use, do not drink from the hose or use the hose to supply drinking water. An outdoor hose may be exposed to conditions that can be hazardous to human health.
- The FlexAble Hose Extreme is not intended for hot water use. Do not run hot water through the hose.
- The FlexAble Hose Extreme is a general outdoor water hose. Do not stretch the hose or use the hose for any other purpose than standard outdoor watering tasks.
- The FlexAble Hose Extreme is intended to expand only with use of water; if stretched while drained the hose can quickly retract and cause bodily harm. Do not stretch the hose.
- The FlexAble Hose Extreme is intended to be drained after each use, do not leave the hose under pressure when not in use. Drain the hose completely before storage and store indoors during extreme hot or cold temperatures. Do not leave hose in the sun for extended periods of time.
Extreme caution should always be used when the hose is in a stretched and drained condition as the FlexAble Hose retracts like a giant rubberband.

MANUFACTURER’S SIXTY DAY LIMITED WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants that all parts and components are free of defects in materials and workmanship for 60 days from the date the product is received. This warranty is valid only in accordance with the conditions set forth below:
- Normal wear and tear are not covered by this warranty. This warranty applies to consumer use only, and is void when the product is used in a commercial or institutional setting.
- The warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser and is not transferable. In addition, proof of purchase must be demonstrated. This warranty is void if the product has been subject to accident, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance or repair, or unauthorized modification.
- This limited warranty is the only written or express warranty given by the manufacturer. Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
- Repair or replacement of the product (or, if repair or replacement is not feasible, a refund of the purchase price) is the exclusive remedy of the consumer under this warranty. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of this warranty or any implied warranty on this product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
- This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Procedure for Warranty Repairs or Replacement:
If warranty service is necessary, the original purchaser must pack the product securely and send it postage paid with a description of the defect, proof of purchase, and a check or money order for $7.99 to the following address: Tristar Products Inc., 500 Returns Road, Wallingford, CT 06495.
