Safety Instructions

  • Do not install the FRITZ!Box during an electrical storm.
  • During a storm, disconnect the FRITZ!Box from the power supply and from the internet.
  • The ventilation slits of the FRITZ!Box must never be obstructed.
  • Do not place the FRITZ!Box on overly heat-sensitive surfaces.
  • Connect the FRITZ!Box to an easily accessible outlet.
  • The FRITZ!Box is intended only for indoor operation.

Connect to Electric Power

  • Connect the FRITZ!Box to electric power. The “Power” LED begins flashing.

Connect to the DSL Network

Use the grey DSL cable to connect the FRITZ!Box to your All-IP or direct access line. If you have a DSL line and also an analog or ISDN telephone line with a DSL splitter, connect the FRITZ!Box with the gray-black DSL/telephone and the telephone adapter included in the package. Connect Telephones by Cable

Connect your telephones: Connect analog devices to the sockets “FON 1” and “FON 2”,ISDN devices to the socket “FON S0”.

 

Register Cordless Telephones

  1. Put your telephone in registration mode.
  2. Enter the PIN of the FRITZ!Box on the telephone (the preset value is “0000”).
  3. Press the “Connect/WPS” button until the LED begins flashing. Your telephone isregistered.

The FRITZ!Box uses the DECT standard to support up to six cordless telephones.

 

Connect Computers

Wi-Fi

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the task bar.A list appears on the screen showing all wireless networks.
  2. Select the wireless network of your FRITZ!Box 7590.
  3. Enter the network key and click “Connect”.

LAN

 

Setting up in the User Interface

  1. Open a web browser on the computer and enter http://fritz.box.The user interface appears.
  2. Enter the password for the FRITZ!Box and follow the instructions displayed on thescreen.. After the wizard has concluded you can surf the web with all connected devices.
