WARNING: When using this product, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions and safety precautions before using the product.
- Keep out of reach of children. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when the product is used near children.
- Failing to operate the battery or power station in accordance with this manual may damage internal components and will void the warranty.
- Damage to internal components may result in electrical shock, chemical burn, outgassing, fire, or explosion causing personal injury or damage to other devices.
- Do not allow internal battery materials to come in contact with skin or eyes. If exposed to internal battery materials seek medical attention immediately and flush the area with clean lukewarm water without interruption or as instructed by medical professionals.
- Do not modify or disassemble the battery or the power station; there are no user-serviceable parts inside.
- Do not use power sources or attachments that are not approved by Furrion®.
- To reduce the risk of damage to the adapter cables and charging ports, pull cables by the plug end when disconnecting the power station. Do not operate the power station with damaged adapter cables.
- Do not drop or subject the product to strong mechanical shock.
- Do not expose the product to moisture, water, rain, snow, or spray.
- Keep the product clean and dry. Unplug the product before cleaning. Use a clean dry cloth to clean battery or power station terminals if they become dirty.
- Do not allow foreign objects or conductive materials such as keys or fingers to come in contact with the positive and negative terminals on the battery or power station. Doing so may cause a short circuit.
- Always unplug charging cables from the power station prior to removing the battery.
- Ensure that battery is fully inserted in the power station and charging cords are connected properly before attempting to charge or discharge.
- Do not expose the product to excessive heat or fire above 158°F (70°C) and avoid storage in direct sunlight.
- The product may become warm, up to 104°F (40°C), during extended high-power operation. During operation, keep the product away from materials that may be affected by these temperatures.
- Disconnect the iPod from the power source after more than 48 hours when not in use. After extended periods of storage, up to 6 months, it is recommended to fully discharge and charge the battery several times to optimize performance.
- Do not allow the iPod or any other connected devices to exceed the rated current, voltage, or power indicated in this manual and at the AC/DC sockets.
- Dispose of the battery in accordance with local regulations. Contact your local waste management office for information on proper battery recycling or disposal.
- The product must be stored indoors and protected from the elements.
- Do not block the air vents of the product. Keep a clearance of at least 1” (2.5cm) on the left and right sides.

What’s in the Box
Make sure you have all the following items included in the packaging. If any item is damaged or missing, contact your dealer or Furrion® customer service.
Operation
Before First Use
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Check the product for transport damages.
NOTE: To maximize the performance of the battery, we recommend fully charging it prior to first use.
Inserting/Removing the Furrion ePod™ Battery (if included)
NOTE: Before installing/removing the battery, turn off the product and disconnect all adapter cables.
To correctly insert the battery into the power station:
- Make sure the triangle alignment icons on the battery and on the power station are aligned.
- Fully insert the battery into the power station.
- Make sure the PRESS AND RELEASE button on the power station is latched on the battery locking mechanism.
To remove the battery from the power station:Press the PRESS AND RELEASE button on the power station and pull upwards on the battery handle to remove the battery.
Turning On/Off
Press the POWER button for 3 seconds to turn the product on or off. The LED on the POWER button will light up when the product is turned on.NOTE: The iPod Power Station will automatically turn off when the AC power is off and there is no DC load (each USB port is <0.5W) for 20 minutes.
Charging
Charging with the AC AdapterNOTES:
- The product should only be charged with a compatible Furrion® AC adapter.
- A full charging cycle with the power adapter takes approx. 7 hours.
Charging with the Cigarette Lighter Cable
NOTES:
- The product should only be charged with a compatible Furrion® cigarette lighter cable and a rated 12V automotive receptacle.
- A full charging cycle with the cigarette lighter cable takes approx. 7.5 hours.
Charging with the Solar Panel
NOTES:
- When charging the product with a solar panel, the solar panel should be within the below specifications:− Open Circuit Voltage < 24Vdc− Short Circuit Current < 8A− Power < 100W
- The product should only be charged with a compatible Furrion® solar panel such as the 100W Kickstand model (FSPK10MWN-BL, sold separately). See separate product user manual for further details.
- When using the Furrion® solar panel, the charging time can vary depending on the sunlight irradiance.
- The minimum charging time takes approx. 7.5 hours. The charging time may vary depending on the weather condition and the placement of the solar panel.
Checking the Battery Level while Charging
The product can be powered continuously by the AC adapter, the cigarette lighter cable, or a portable Furrion solar panel (not included). During the charging process, the battery level indicators on the handle and display will flash slowly corresponding to the following battery percentages:

Discharging
DC OutputThe power station provides 4 x USB DC output ports:
- USB Output Ports x 2
- USB Fast Charge Output Port x 1
- USB C Output Port x 1
Connect an external device to the desired USB port on the compatible USB cable (not included) to start the car specifications of the external device to ensure that it does no power rating on the corresponding USB port.
AC Output
The power station includes 2 AC output sockets with 120Vac, 60Hz power for off-grid use in the outdoors or as a household backup power source. Connect an external device to either of the AC output sockets.Check the specifications of the AC devices to ensure that their combined current or power does not exceed the rating on the corresponding AC output sockets.
To activate the AC sockets:Press the POWER button for 3 seconds to turn the product on, then press and hold the AC ON/OFF button for 1 second. The LED on the AC ON/OFF button will turn on. If the product is powered off, the AC ON/OFF button can not be turned on.To deactivate the AC sockets:Press and hold the AC ON/OFF button for 1 second. The LED on the AC ON/OFF will be turned off.
Checking the Battery Level while Discharging
Touch thelogo on the battery handle to turn on the battery level indicator LED light for 10 seconds. The 4 battery level indicators on the handle and display correspond to the following battery percentages:

Care and Maintenance
Cleaning Instructions
- Disconnect all external devices from the product.
- Turn off the product and disconnect it from the power supply.
- Use a clean dry cloth to clean battery or power station terminals if they become dirty. Do not allow battery terminals or sockets to get wet.
NOTE: Do not use cleaners containing corrosive and abrasive materials (such as scouring powder, bleach, soap powder, alkaline cleansers, benzene, gasoline, acid, water, etc.) to clean the product.
Storage Instructions
- After extended periods of storage, up to 6 months, it is recommended to fully discharge and charge the battery several times to optimize performance.
- Unplug the product from the power source and remove the battery from the power station before prolonged storage.
- Store the product in a cool dry location, not accessible to children or pets.
- Store the product indoors.

When charging while in use (if in low battery mode), it is possible to discharge the battery faster than it can charge. Refer to the following chart, should a similar problem occur.
