Introduction
The 4K HDMI 1.4 Audio Extraction is designed to extract audio from a 4K HDMI signal to stereo balanced L/R audio, analog RCA, and coaxial digital audio output ports.

Installation Requirements
- HDMI source device (computer, Blu-Ray/DVD player, XBOX, PS3, etc)
- HDMI display device (SDTV/Monitor, HDTV/Monitor, projector, etc.)
- Speakers, audio amplifier
- 5V/1A output USB Power adapter
Product Layout
- Stereo output jack: Connects to headphones or speakers
- EDID: Dip switches to control EDID settings
- HDMI In: Connects to your HDMI source device
- Micro USB power jack: Connects to the included Micro USB power cable
- HDMI Out: Connects to your HDMI display
- Coaxial Out: Connects to your Coaxial speakers or audio receiver
- Optical Out: Connects to your Optical speakers or audio receiver
Hardware Installation
- Power off all devices including your HDMI source and HDMI display.
- Connect your HDMI source device to the Audio Extractor’s HDMI In connector with an HDMI cable (HDMI cable not included).
- Connect your HDMI display to the HDMI Out connector with a HDMI cable (HDMI cable not included).
- Optional: Connect headphones, speakers, or amplifier to the audio output jacks as needed.
- Plug the included Micro USB power cable into the Extractor’s Micro USB power jack, then plug the cable’s other end into a reliable 5V/1A USB Type-A power source.
- Power on all connected devices.
- The audio extractor is ready for use.
