· Remove all tape and packaging before using the Hob. Destroy the carton and plastic bag after unpacking the Hob. Never allow children to play with packaging material.· Your appliance should be installed by a qualified technician in accordance with state and locals laws.· Never modir alter the construction of a Hob by removingleveling legs, panels, anti-tip brackets/screws r any otherpant of product. · Do not use the hob for storage. · Top cover must be open when main buner is in operation. · Children climbing on the hob to reach items could be seriouslyinjured. &WARNINGNEVER use this appliance as a space heater to warm a room. Doing so may result in carbon monoxide poisoning and overheating the hob&WARNING NEVER cover rear vent on counter top. Never cover an entire rack with materials such as aluminum foil or any other flammable items. Doing so blocks air flow through the hob and may cause carbon monoxide poisoning, explode, or start a fire. · The appliance and its individual shutoff valve must bedisconnected from the gas supply piping system during any pressure testing of that system at test pressures in excess of 1/2 psi(3.5 kPa). · The appliance must be isolated from the gas supply piping system by closing its individual manual shutoff valve during any pressure testing of the gas supply piping system at test pressures equal to or less than 1/2 psi(3.5 kPa) · DO NOT TOUCH SURFACE BURNERS, AREAS NEAR THESE BURNERS. Match Lighting: 1. Before lighting, check to make sure the control knobs areturned to OFF position 2. Make sure the main gas tank valve is open 3. Turn the appropriate burner knob counterclockwise to LIGHTposition. (Fig. 9)4. IMMEDIATELY strike and place a lit, long wooden match or a butane Lighter with extension) through the spaces in the grate near the ports of the burner to light the burner. Repeat steps 3 & 4 to light all burners (Fig. 10)5. Push and turn the burner control knob to adjust the flame lever. Counterclockwise can be adjusted to low setting. (Fig 11)14 I P a g e
