Supplied accessories included:

1. USB cable (DC 5V 1A)
2. Emergency USB Key

Charging Instructions:

1. There is a USB charging port at the rear of the steering wheel lock.
2. Plug in the USB power charging cable, you can use portable power or car charger access.
3. The fingerprint lock will need to be charged up, as the instructions above. It will need to be charged for 1hour and 50 minute’s for it to be fully charged. You will need to fully charge the steering wheel lock every 6 months.Please ensure the lock is fully charged before registering prints

Indicator

Please see below indication guide for the different colour of lights that may flash whilst in use.

How to scan your finger on the fingerprint reader:

The images below show to correctly position your finger over the fingerprint sensor.

How to set up the initial administrator fingerprint

The first and second fingerprints registered are the administrator fingerprints by default. The second administrator will need to follow the `additional user set-up’ process to register their fingerprint

1. Put your finger on the sensor and the blue light will flash once and the steering wheel lock will open.
2. Hold your finger on the fingerprint sensor, the blue light will initially flash once.
3. Continue holding your fingerprint on the sensor until the blue light flashes three times
4. Then immediately lift and press your finger onto the sensor 6 times. On the 6th time, it should record the fingerprint and the light will flash blue to confirm this.
5. The light will flash blue to confirm that your fingerprint has successfully recorded.

How to set up an additional user

1. New user place and finger on the sensor. It will flash rend.
2. Continue to hold your finger on the sensor until it flashes blue 3 times
3. Remove your finger from the administrator to touch the sensor cone, using the finger that is already registered no the lock. The lock will flash purple. The administrator now reed to remove their finger from the sensor
4. New user now needs to register their finger onto the sensor 6 times, by pressing and lifting off. After the 6th touch, it should record the fingerprint.
5. The light will flash blue to confirm that your fingerprint has successfully recorded.

Factory Reset

(This can only be performed by the administrative user)

When you scan your fingerprint the lock beam will pop open and the blue light will flash once.

1. Press the sensor with the admin fingerprint and keep pressed. A blue light will flash once. Keep processed until the blue light flashes three times and the red light flashes three times
2. After the red light has flashed immediately press your finger twice on the sensor and the red and blue combination light will flash twice to confirm that your fingerprint has been deleted.
3. The red and blue lights alternately flicker to confirm the fingerprint date has been deleted.

Emergency USB key

Instructions for Emergency USB keys

1. If the lock is out of power, or when the fingerprint fails, the spare emergency USB key can be used to unlock.
2. There is a USB charging port at the end of the steering wheel lock.
3. Unplug the dust stopper at the bottom.
4. Insert the emergency key into the USB charging port, then connect the charging cable into the end of the emergency key. You will then need to connect the charging cable into the power supply, once this is done the steering wheel lock head will open. The lock will be restored to the factory setting and all stored fingerprint information will be deleted. Once the emergency key is removed, press on the fingerprint sensor and then new fingerprint information can be recorded.Note: This key is the only one emergency key. Please keep this Emergency key safe as replacements are not available.

Direction for Use:

1. Scan your fingerprint to unlock and the lock beam will open. Always wait till the blue light has flashed then start to place the lock over your steering wheel.

1. Use your fingerprint to unlock the lock beam.
2. Place the steering wheel lock over your steering wheel as shown and then close the lock together. Please note once you have closed it there will be a small gap present between the steering lock head.
3. Use your fingerprint to unlock the wheel lock.
4. The wheel can be removed off your steering wheel.

Troubleshooting

ISSUE	SOLUTION
Light indicator does not appear when fingerprint sensor is used	Please ensure the fingerprint lock has been fully charged
Does not recharge	Ensure the charging port is clear and the charging cable is in working order
Registered print not being recognized	Please ensure your fingers and the sensor are both clean and dry
Lock will not open on steering wheel	Compress jaws together further at the same time as placing your finger on the sensor. This will release the lock

► Do not place near fire or water.► Do not use this steering lock in extreme temperatures, humidity, or corrosive environment to avoid damage to the internal circuit.► Do not place this product too close to magnetic cards with magnetic stripes or chips (such as ID card, bank card, etc.) to avoid the failure of a magnetic card.►Whilst using this product it may leave an impression on leather steering wheels.►Any anti-theft device can only be a deterrent against a determined thief. Notwithstanding the fitting of this anti-theft device, the vehicle and contents should always be fully insured against theft.
