Safety Instructions• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.• Use the product for its intended purpose only.• Protect the product from dirt, moisture, and overheating, and only use it in an adry environment.• Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the specifications.• Do not use the product in moist environments and avoid splashes.• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.• Do not use the product in areas where the use of electronic devices is not permitted.• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.• Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.• Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.• Dispose of packaging material immediately according to locally applicable regulations.• Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.Warning –Batteries• When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and -markings) and insert the batteries accordingly. Failure to do so could result in the batteries leaking or exploding.• Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the specified type.• Before you insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polar contacts.• Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of a different type or make.• Remove the batteries from products that are not being used for an extendedperiod (unless this are being kept ready for an emergency).• Do not short-circuit batteries.• Do not charge batteries.• Do not throw batteries in a fire.• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.• Never open, damage, or swallow batteries or allow them to enter the environment. They can contain toxic, environmentally harmful heavy metals.• Immediately remove and dispose of dead batteries from the product.• Avoid storing, charging, or using the device in extreme temperatures and extremely low atmospheric pressure(for example, at high altitudes).
  4. Getting StartedOpen the battery compartment (10), insert one AA battery, ensuring that the battery is inserted correctly in terms of polarity, and then close the battery compartment (10). The thermometer is now ready for use.
  5. InstallationYou can either stand the thermometer on an even surface using the fold-out stand (9) on the back of the device or attach it to a wall using the opening (8) on the back of the device. Note• In order to measure the temperature outside, the outdoor sensor (7) must be located outside of the building.• Ensurethat the outdoor sensor is protected from direct sunlight and rain.• Note that the maximum distance between the thermometer and the outdoor sensor (7) is approximately 150 cm due to the length of the cable. For this reason, we recommend placing the thermometer near a window or door.• Ensurethat the outdoor sensor cable is not bent, placed on sharp edges, or otherwise damaged. WarningBefore mounting, check that the wall you have chosen is suitable for the weight to be mounted Also make sure that there are no electric, water, gas or other lines running through the wall at the mounting site.
  6. Operation• Ifyou do not change the settings, the thermometer is set in the factory to display the current outdoor and indoor temperature on the display (1/2).• The thermometer automatically stores the maximum and minimum values for the outside temperature and inside temperature.• Press the MAX/MIN button for outdoor temperature(3) / MAX/MIN button for indoor temperature(5) to display the maximum outdoor temperature/indoor temperature since the last start/reset.• Press the MAX/MIN button for outdoor temperature(3) / MAX/MIN button for indoor temperature(5) again to display the minimum outdoor temperature/indoor temperature since the last start/reset.• Press the MAX/MIN button for outdoor temperature(3) / MAX/MIN button for indoor temperature(5) athirdtime to display the current outdoor temperature/ indoor temperature.• Press the RESET button for outdoor temperature(4) / RESET button for indoor temperature(6) while the maximum or minimum temperature is being displayed in order to reset the temperature currently shown. NoteReplacing the batteriesThe thermometer is reset automatically once the battery runs out and/or is replaced.
  7. Care and MaintenanceOnly clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Make sure that water does not enter the product.
