General handling

  • To prevent damage, never use force when handling the product.
  • Never immerse the product in water. Just wipe it with a clean dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or flammable cleaning agents.

Possible hearing damage With loudspeakers connected, the device can produce volume levels that may cause temporary or permanent hearing impairment. Do not operate the device permanently at a high volume level. Decrease the volume level immediately if you experience ringing in your ears or hearing impairment.

Danger of electric shock caused by high voltages inside Within the device there are areas where high voltages may be present. Never remove any covers. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Do not use the device if covers, protectors or optical components are missing or damaged.

Danger of electric shock caused by short-circuit Always use proper ready-made insulated mains cabling (power cord) with a protective contact plug. Do not modify the mains cable or the plug. Failure to do so could result in electric shock/death or fire. If in doubt, seek advice from a registered electrician.

Power supply Before connecting the device, ensure that the input voltage (AC outlet) matches the voltage rating of the device and that the AC outlet is protected by a residual current circuit breaker. Failure to do so could result in damage to the device and possibly injure the user.

Unplug the device before electrical storms occur and when it is unused for long periodsof time to reduce the risk of electric shock or fire.

Operating elements

Using the product

  1. To power the device, connect the mains socket of the device to a properly wired mains socket which provides the voltage specified in the technical specifications via the supplied mains cable.
  2. Connect the line level output (0.775 V) of the guitar preamp or effects unit to be used to the INPUT jack with a 1/4″ jack cable. Connecting an electric guitar directly to the input leads only to a significantly weaker output power signal.
  3. Connect a guitar speaker cabinet that corresponds to the impedance and load capacity specified in the technical specifications to the OUTPUT jack using a 1/4″ speaker cable.
  4. Set the power switch to the ON position to turn on the power. The PWR / PRO LED will light up green.
  5. Play the instrument. The SIGNAL LED indicates a present signal. If the PEAK LED is lit, the input signal is too high and there is an unpleasant distortion due to overload. In this case, reduce the output signal of the device connected to the input to such an extent that the PEAK LED no longer lights up.
  6. To adjust the volume, turn the VOLUME control to the desired position.
  7. Use the BASS control to adjust the desired low frequency portion of the overall signal. The MID knob controls the mids and the TREBLE knob controls the high frequencies.

Possible hearing damage With loudspeakers connected, the device can produce volume levels that may cause temporary or permanent hearing impairment. Do not operate the device permanently at a high volume level. Decrease the volume level immediately if you experience ringing in your ears or hearing impairment.

8. A built-in protection circuit works to protect the device and components connected to it. When it triggers, the PWR / PRO LED turns red and the output turns off. In this case, switch off the device via the on / off switch and switch it on again a minute later. If the PWR / PRO LED still lights red, please contact our service.9. After use, turn the power switch to the OFF position to turn off the power. If the unit is not going to be used for a longer time, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
